For all of you who have played HL2, do you think that all the wait and anticipation was worth it? Answer honestly...

It surpassed my expectations greatly, i love everything about the game.

just better graphics then i thought, i need a faster monitor, only have a 23ms response cuz it looks lame with this.

lol lcd monitor biggrin: Thinking of getting one of those now that 8ms versions are out, though 12ms are meant to eliminate blur totally.

its not that bad, after playing for more then 5 minutes it isnt even noticable. but im thinking of selling this monitor to my dad for $500 and buying a better one. link to an 8ms one?

I think they were trying to go back to the original HL with that. There were never hands up ladders or anything. It's very arcadey, and they kept it that way.

I've only played Vampire: TM - Bloodlines, which uses Source. Looks great and the gameplay is amazing.
