Anybody know where I can get some cajun food?

Anybody here know where I can get me some awesome cajun food pretty close to the Louisiana/Texas boarder? Man I really want some good good food, but where could I ever get some? Though I don't want to drive 8 million miles. Thanks amigos!!!!!!

I cook my own Cajun food. I'm best with Jambalaya. Try lake Charles, LA. It's a medium-sized city, and should have some hole in the wall place that has good stuff. It's located near the border, close to Houston. Thibidoux, LA has some good stuff, but that's between Baton Rouge/New Orleans.

I know, I know...what the hell does a Newfoundlander know about cajun cooking, right?

Zone's Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya
==========================
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound chorizo sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 2 cups sliced celery
- 2 cups chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped jalapeno peppers
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes, cut up
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups cooked, cubed chicken
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pound fresh or frozen raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
- Hot pepper sauce (I like Frank's Red Hot)

Directions
In a big pot over medium heat, cook sausage, onion, celery, peppers, and garlic in olive oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender. Add shrimp. Cook 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Remove bay leaves. Serve with the Frank's Red Hot.
