none of the urls of the shots work,

erm, i thought the 8500 supported directx 8.1 better than any other card, so u should have the best smoke/fog effects over every1 else.. hmmmmmm, tricky one, id try checking in other games to try and compare try rtcw to see what the effects are like.

apart from that ull need to speak to some 1 whos got an 8500, soryr i couldnt help anymore but i only got a crap geforce 3 http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif

Thought I'd let you know, I have the 8500 on a 1.33T-bird@1470MHz. I get great smoke effects. Sometimes so dense, you can't see though it.

I can see poor smoke outlines effects,,
I think this is broken .
