text sucks imo
cool original pic. where'd you get it?
If you work on the text it would be good.
Yeah its pretty good... just work on the text.
let me tell you, it's tough to pull off the right text. Be cool and just get rid the text all together. Either that or find someone to help you. Other than that, it looks great.

Sniper, Text is one of those things that EVERYONE has a problem with to start with, and it can be one of the hardest hurdles to overcome. I used a few sigs with great text to guide me into my style: Things like this were running around at the time, and I watched what fonts and effects were being used as a starting place.... I also spent some time at LW, and got some tips from Arch...thats probably why I'm fond of pixal fonts, lol. But, the trick to master is "the right font, for the right sig" to include proper size and effect. Some sigs are better with no text at all. I'll post some tips if your interested, but most of it is just ballance and good font choice. |
great piece but as said about the text. listen to toberierius ^ or just use it without the text
post some tuts for text that would help me greatly
if you think it doesnt looks good ( text graphics whatever ) it probably doesnt ... so go with that and keep trying stuff until you come up with something you like. ... the text mightve worked if you left it solid instead of trans. i think it still might work if you try it solid. 1 is the better postion.

easily. just copy the text and paste it again so there is 2 layers of it, then Layer>Rasterize>Type the behind layer, then use that layer and smudge it with the smudge tool along with using the shift key down to keep the line straight. Play around with the strength of the smudge to get it right |
