I'm currently reading this book. And yes, I do know that is a conservative book and the author has no intentions of putting that under the table. He flat out states that this is his list and you can suck a dick if you don't like his choices. pretty bold if you ask me.

I find it very commical so far. The first 30 pages were about the celebrities of America (Hollywood) and how they think they know everything.

I like the one quote from the website:
[quote:2704d]But Goldberg will also make you laugh as he harpoons scoundrels like the congresswoman who thinks there aren't enough hurricanes named after black people, and the environmentalist to the stars who yells at total strangers driving SUVs -- even though she tools around the country in a gas-guzzling private jet.[/quote:2704d]

[quote:22632] DID HE FORGET ABOUT DUBYA?
Bernie Goldberg has written a gem of a book which blasts the cultural elite, obsessed secularists, anti-Americans, Hollyweird hypocrites, and the fawning over crappy black rap which translates into racial appeasement. However I must agree with some reviewers that Goldberg is playing off a niche similar to Ann Coulter and Mike Savage. This is a purely partisan book which plays to partisan Republicans. If not, it would recognize that Dubya has cornered the market on screwups. In fact, Dubya should be at the top of the list. He invites massive illegal immigration - over 1 mil a year when we can only absorb a max of 300,000. He refers to the peaceful Minutemen as "vigilantes" while he zealously protects foreign borders with U.S. troops. Could this be interpreted as treason? He's turned a budget surplus into huge deficits and put forth CAFTA which undermines U.S. textile jobs. Big Oil continues to strafe the wallets of average Americans while Bush remains mute. His impetuous war, preceded by such cowboy epithets as "smoke em out", "bring em on", and "get em dead or alive" shows a sophomoric mentality and cavalier attitude about military action. In addition to the unnessary deaths of thousands, Mr. Bush leveled Iraq and promised to reconstruct it - and its all gratis, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer. So Bernie, when we talk about the 100 democrats who have screwed up America, it might be fitting to remember the ONE Republican who outdid them all.[/quote:22632]One of the customer reviews happy: . Didnt John Stewart make this guy look like a goon on his show? I think it was, I will look for a link or a video.

the book is pretty funny. Normally, it would have the person's name and then have a few pages explaining why he chose them for the list. For Michael Jackson it just simply states, "If you don't know why you shouldn't be reading this book" and moves on to the next person happy: .

I forget who the other actress was, but he listed her name. Under it was "Slut" and moved on to the next person. happy:

I see Howard Dean picture is on the cover, what does it say about him? (it better not be something like, he's crazy or something along those lines)

lol @ the alabama thing. Talking to Stewert is like trying to talk politics with a little kid. I love how he just makes jokes left and right just to piss Goldberg off happy:

He also obliterated Santorum last week, I could tell Santorum thought Jon was going to play softball like he did with O'Reilly... Not a chance in hell. He ripped into his entire book, Santorum's only real idea was "homosexaul parents do not lay a foundation for children like hetrosexaul....... It was insane really. Jon just fired him questions and his opinions and own answers back.

Yeah I own America, definaly a good read and a play on the modern education system.

Also Jon Stewart pwned Rick Santorum without telling a joke.

Stewart went to W&M, he's a smart guy. I don't agree with what he says or how he treats his guests sometimes, but he is funny, smart, and very witty.

Hearing that from you = a surprise, I expected you to say something a litte brutish about him.

c312 07-31-2005 06:43 PM

Why? Because I'm conservative?

You can not sit there and tell me that he didn't acti childish at any point in that interview with his jokes and stuff. I'm not saying he's stupid because of that; that's his gag...he's a comedian.
