The original was a classic. Great flick.

Not sure about all these friggin' remakes. They're never as good as the originals.

EDIT after reading the article: At least Wes Craven is associated with the film (he directed the original). It might not totally suck cock.

I remember seeing the original as a kid. Scared me back then.

i just saw the original a few weeks ago. it was horrible. the ending was the worst ending i have ever seen. i hope the new one will be good.

the orginal one kicked major ass, yeah craven has something to do with this one so it wont suck balls, the movie has been cut like 3 times and still has an NC-17 rating

its sitting 2 feet away from me, I havent watched it yet...my good friend let me borrow all these old horror films to try to get me into them... I HATED Dawn of the Dead and Evil Dead, but the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre was good. I hope its good.

those movies are classics 2 of the best horror movies ever put out, its rare these days to find a good newer horror movies all that are coming out at shitty pg13 horror movies such as cry_wolf, and then shitty remakes. did any see the trailer for the remake when a stanger calls? that looks like total crap.
