me, my sister, and my grandma were going through my granddad's stuff, since we havn't since his death 2 months ago, and we came across some of his old guns.

a .22 pistol:

a winchester .22 pump-action rifle and a browning 16-guage hunting shotgun

and probably my favorite out of them all, a colt M1903 .32 calibur automatic

we found the pistols under his underwear, all loaded, and the rifle and shotgun in a closet.

Loaded != dangerous. It's only a problem with irresponsible people and children who don't know better...

leaving a loaded gun in an unlocked box/DRAWER IS a sign of irresponsiblity, and no offense, but its people like that who allow guns to be stolen and used by criminals, kids who shoot up schools, and little kids who accidentally kill each other. People like them who give the second amendment a bad rep.

Looks like 12 or 16 ga pump, 30-30 lever, and a .22 pump.

Its people like this who use there weapons as home defense tools to not allow them to be stolen and used in crimes. Also, unless you have a huge gun safe that had to be installed by 3 guys and is bolted down, someone breaking into your house while your gone will steal them. IE fireboxes, locked pistol cases, locked rifle cases, etc.

Look at it this way. There his grandfathers weapons, in other words two old people living in a house with no kids. Now the kids come over for a visit the grandparents are always around and rarly leave kids unsupervised, hell they only see them rarly. Not likly that a kids is going to go looking through there grandparents underwear drawer anyhow.
