Good, it never was a planet to begin with. It's actually a piece for the outlaying asteroid belt (kiper belt) and it decided to orbit our sun more closely instead. The problem is not whether its a planet or not, that can be easily said once there is a definition. The only reason it was ever a planet was because someone saw it up in the sky and saw tha it orbited the sun so they called it a planet not knowing its true origins.

Think of this: Pluto is smaller than our moon. All it really is is an asteroid from the kiper belt.
