[quote:e7084]SEOUL, South Korea (CNN) -- North Korea on Monday claimed it has performed a successful nuclear test, according to that country's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

South Korean government officials also said North Korea performed its first nuclear test, the South's Yonhap news agency reported.[/quote:e7084]

Tripper 10-09-2006 04:16 AM

punishment for this shit will be more sanctions on north korea probably - id like to see how kim jong replies to that....

Unknown_Sniper 10-09-2006 08:29 AM

it doesnt change much in the world really. Other than N. Korea obviously having nukes. Kim wont be luanching and nukes at nearby neighbors and I highly doubt he will try to have someone smuggle one into the USA. The last thing hte world wants to do is start a fight over this.

I can the south being really pissed off. N Korea is just a bit smaller than Michigan. What about any kind of radiation or fall out? Im assuming it was an undergroung test but then what about the ground water. They could have really screwed up thier tiny, little spec of a nation for years to come

Unknown_Sniper 10-09-2006 10:06 AM

most of the reports that are out say that there was no radiation leakage. But who knows how true that actually is.

Why has the US got nukes yet they dont like it when everyone else has them (iraq, n korea etc)?

Unknown_Sniper 10-09-2006 11:01 AM

because we have over 30,000 of them and were not fucking crazy socialists or Jihaddists.
Also china, one of N. Koreas allies is pissed they have nukes now as well, so is France, England, Russia, Japan, and South Korea who cut off lots of aid shipments to the north.

KTOG 10-09-2006 11:24 AM

What about all the good benefits of nukes? Like blowing up a meteor the size of Texas or drilling to the center of the Earth to reactivate the core?

HAVENT WE LEARNED ANYTHING FROM HOLLYWOOD!

He doesn't need to smuggle it into the US, they are developing rockets that can carry them here. He got the technology from China. China got the technology from President Clinton in exchange for campaign contributions.
