xbox 360

I have a chance to get the one with the HD, wireless controller and headset for $300 (New, in box) from a friend, so I have a couple questions...

1. Are the graphics going to be good even though I don't have (and won't get for a while) an HD TV?

2. Is the Xbox Live feature as good as a playing PC games online? Multiplayer is my main motivation for buying games now.

What do you mean as good as playing PC Games online? You don't get a keyboard and a mouse if that's what you're asking. I've had bad experiences playing PC Games online since there's shitty games just like with a console. I hear Xbox live is good stuff at any rate.

Haha, yea I'm aware there is no keyboard and mouse.

I guess a better question is are there good multiplayer games for the 360, or are they mostly single player??

The only system I have is ps2 and basically all of those games were geared towards single player or 2 players with an addtional controller.

even if you dont have an hdtv, just get the VGA HD AV Cable and plug it into your monitor.

Rainbow Six Vegas makes me semenate.

My weapons of choice...

Shield + Pistol -- Co-Op...pwnage.

Pyro 12-13-2006 08:25 PM

Rainbow Six, vegas is fucking wicked...loved that shit online...

anyways...ya graphics are still good...but HDTV totally makes it better...

but really...if you don't think about comparing the two...you won't even care...i didn't until i saw on one tv the difference when using HDTV and the other...but if you never change in your house you won't care.

Yeah I run mine on a poopy little 14inch regular tv - Still looks fucking beautiful.

...and in terms of lag online - Well, so far its non-existant. I've only heard american voices on xbox live as well - Which means its ridiculously good, because on PC I'd lag the fuck out on aussie/nz servers and if I tried on american servers it would barely be playable. Its great. I recommend this system.
COD 3 multi is pwnage....

Let's just say the main reason I bought my 360 was for online gaming.
