From all the new previews I've read, nope. I realise all the problems the game's had over the years and may still have but from what testers have been saying, I like what I've heard.

jesus christ...36 years later

From what ive read this game has been drastically scaled down form what it was intended to be, all the elements that made it something that stood out have been seriously nerfed or removed totally.

I remember i posted a screen of this game years back with that funny looking m4 varient in it, ballisticwookie was still posting here so that shows how long ago that was. eek:

PC Gamer UK has reviewed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and given it the score of 87%

Here is a couple of excerpts:

It's best described as a first-person shooter/roleplaying game/ survival horror hybrid, in that order....the horror is the thing that underlines the whole game. It's what makes it work. It's what makes it different.

It's: Enormous, atmospheric
It's not: The hype, nearly as buggy as you'd expect, monster-stuffed

is it me or does that bloom lighting effect not look very good

geRV 03-13-2007 07:16 PM

I dont think the game in general looks very good based on screens, those cocks at fileplanet have yet to send me my multiplayer "beta" key despite the fact the games gone gold so how the fucks it a beta? oOo:

In the pic miyagi posted that hand\arm and gun look like something you'd expect the original half life engine to produce.
