Ea Sucks Or Not ?
 

I have seen a bunch of posts where you guys rag ea ... I didnt really have much to say, i guess because i didnt really care all that much ...

A couple of days ago i tried to log on a bf1942 server and got the message that my cd key was already in use ... i was a little upset since i bought this game and had a valid cd key .... so i called ea tech support

The guy i spoke with told me he would need me to send him copies of the two disks , a copy of the back of jewel case showing the cdkey , my personal info and email ... and that i would hear back from them in 24 hours ... I was a little pissed about waiting but didnt argue with the guy and sent the information at 7:53 ... by 8:09 I had a reply with a new cd key waiting in my inbox ... I was very surprised that they responded so quickly that i replied with an email thanking them for their efforts to get me a new cd key...

ea is not all that bad in my book.

Be carefully. someone had a blood mod going around that would steal your CD key.

The blood mod is for moh or bf1942 ? I haven't installed any mods for bf 1942 ...

I still wish we could get a bunch of us aa.com guys together to play ... I have been playing some with balltongue and have seen some kaos guys, oh yeah and akuma biggrin: but thats it ... I think we could really own most servers since we would probably work together ... maybe we could make this thread a place for those that play to post and somehow team up on sat ...

I stopped playing Battlefield for awhile because there are just so many fucktards its not worth it. It really isnt. Either someone runs and hops in a tnak and backs into you, or the medics dont heal you, or a jeep runs over me foot causing me to drop my weapon, and my ice cream.

Pretty damn dumb.

Or the asshole who intentionally crashed his jeep with someone in it and he hops out.

Ed, if you really wish ill give you a list of private servers where the assholes are somewhat filtered out.. just PM me.

And.. there is a real, working blood mod, pure and free of any unwanted crap.. it was made by Slinky.. if you wish to use it, just PM me, and ill send over a copy of the file.. its quite nice, really.. although the blood comes out transparent its no big deal.

I hate it when someone drives the jeep over to the plane then blocks the plain from taking off and Boooom blows himself, the jeep and the plain up.

When you find a good server with people who want to work as a team this game can be very fun. Just wish I could hit the side of a barn with any weapon in the game.

I dislike EA because their fan base support is, how do you put it, nonexistant. Their developers don't pay any attention to the fan's opinions. I have seen this in many of EA's products. At least 2015 talked to us, but still that was not EA. They never seem to listen to the fans. They only listen their marketing schemes, like the whole no blood thing to have games in Walmart and crap.

I have the same "complaints" about BF like what you guys said

I find MOHAA fun and I really don't give a shit if I lsoe or win (mostly because I always lose) and its fun anyways

BF just frustrates me, like one person can ruin the whole game, in MOHAA maybe, but not likly.

Uhm , i cant really say much about them not listening to the fan base since i really dont have much to complain about ... Im pretty happy with the way moh is right now ... Sure cheats suck but so does playing against Wintersforge and Soviet ... either way you still get you arse kicked ! Other than cheats (and to be honest they really dont bother me much) im not all that unhappy with the game, never have been.

I was never trying to say that anyone should or should not be unhappy with ea . just that the experience i had with the company was a pleasant one !!!

Almost every company has the same kind of service. EA is not an exception.

Judas!!!!!!!! The =KaoS= fellas have been playing BF42 non stop. Its a great break from MOH. We normally storm a server, join the same team and get it on!!! ICQ me when you are on and ill hook you up with what server we are in and all that jazz. cool:

Man, by not being able to play this game (BF1942 that is) I feel like the geek who was forced to stay home from the prom. cry:

Judas, I'm with you on the whole EA thing. I actually stopped reading the "official" Medal of Honor message board on EA's site since all the threads were from whining maggots who couldn't get their pirated copies of MOH:AA to work.

Maybe if I had a problem with the game, I'd be whistling another tune. But, my MOH:AA experience has been all good so far.
