For the first time since I blieve 1997 The New York Yankees won't be in the world series, all I got to say is

WHAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Really? I didn't get to watch that game, I only saw the Arizona/St. Louis game. Anyway, thank God, I hate the Yankees.

Damn it, I wanted to watch Seinfeld today, but FOX had baseball instead; I was royally pissed. Thus, I tried watching baseball, and it's got to be the most boring thing ever....EVER!! How the hell can people actually watch this and find it exciting!? There's nothing going on for about 13/14 of the time.

Ten minutes later....
"Ball two"
Ten Minutes later....
"Strike one"
*Commertials, then pitcher gets ready for ten more minutes*
"Ball three"
*Show some baseball players chewing some gum, or practice throwing*

Hmm the "WORLD" series yet its only american baseball teams who participate in it.

Yup. People seem to think its fast paced but when you look at it its virtually the same tortoise speed as that oether load of shit cricket. eek:

anything is better then soccer.

Yeah...thats why just about every country in the world plays it compared to those that play "ice hockey" baseball or american "football".

When Russia lost they had a big riot...like fuck your countries are fucked up beyond belief, i'm sure New york is pissed, but they are not gonan go out and kill everyone.

In soccer, or should I say football, the players constantly move around; the key word being MOVE. When it says that a football game will last about forty-five minues, it does not end up lasting five hours, like some other *ahem* sports. Football, has action witha climax in the end; the climax being the actual goal. The climax in football is very fast paced and exciting, unlike in baseball.

I do not watch baseball...I did play it because it really helped my hand eye cordination now in life and was fun to play

I can enjoy soccer if no one turns Pussy (good example watch the Italy National soccer team) and start to cry like babies

thats why I like the african teams and so on, they are badass and usually don't fall down crying.....or cheat.....like that totti guy got two yellows in that one game for cheating.

Who gives a shit about the fans? If I'm watching the soccer game, I don't watch it to watch the fans, I watch it to watch the players play and see who wins.

Although football or you other ppl call it soccer is very fun and exiting I think its just overrated like every other sport.

Oh yeah and cricket is like total waste of wood.

yeah baseball is boring as hell and they always have to change the normal schedule for programs to air the stupid baseball game.

Hmmmm, seems no one here watches "America's pastime". I mainly watch the playoffs and World Series if the Yanks are in it (Been doing that alot over the past few years.....but not this year) Well, like they say, "you can't win 'em all". To whoever said the Yankees suck, i'd like to say one thing... [26 World Series Titles] Now i don't consider that to "suck".
You can hate them, thats ok...but to say they suck? Doesn't make much sense to me. I guess you can say the Montreal Canadiens suck too?
Now, about Hockey, thats one of my fav's so i'll be tuning in since baseball is over for me.
Oh, about soccer....i'd rather plunge a steak knife into my chest than to sit down and watch a game!! (note that i didn't say it "sucked")

... Montreal Canadiens also don't have a 126 million payroll. but they do an awesome job with the money they do got, unlike another team I know (leafs).

Anaheim did deserve it though, a good well rounded team.

I agree, baseball is a little tedious when watching it for a long time on TV; I usually can't watch it for more than 20 minutes straight. I don't really like the MLB either. I prefer college baseball a lot more, but I guess I'm saying that since I get in free at all of the University of Alabama's baseball games. Plus when the game gets boring you can look at the hot girls sitting in the stands.
