well it was released in europe probably a month ago. to bad you guys have to wait until september.
great game except you can shoot people at a really long range (doesn´t seem all that realistic to me)

yes it is possible i have died a few times by a nade to the face with full health.

i still dont like it its meant to be realistic and it really isn´t.
if you want realism play operation flashpoint
(most realistic wargame to date)

You can actually buy it here in the US. It's the European version, but several online gaming retailers are selling the European version, and shipping it here to the US.

If you don't like Counter-Strike, it's all good man, but don't ruin other peoples fun by saying "IT SUCKS IT SUX IT SUX0RZ" all over the board: it's your opinion.

Some people really enjoy the fun, adrenalin-pumping tactical action CS provides. DOD is a lot of fun too, but on a different level altogether (see ? that's MY opinion : notice I didn't trash the game because it isn't "on the level" with counter-strike IMHO).

These days, I'm playing Max Payne and the Red Faction demo on my new system as well as CS and DOD.

Just thought I'd answer the basic topic question..

How long have you had Max Payne , I finished it in about 2 or 3 days it´s a really short game but the Bullet-time is really cool

Yeah I still play DoD a lot. I used to be addicted to CS... Until I played DoD http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

man the models for dod suck.. The way the guys run suck too.. And the explosions...... You guessed it, SUCK! The game is too fast paced, ppl run way to quick, the cs system is by far wayyyy better.. Also yes u can die wit a nade in the face... Or u juss have 1 health which is already dead.. But CS and DOD do really rock.. I love killing ppl in DOD cuzz its more of a challenge. You have to aim pretty precise, in CS i juss go gun blazin..

DOD is a work in progress whereas Counter-Strike is a shelf product lol. But for the work it has done so far, DOD is pretty sweet. I hope the mod has a bright future..........TIL OCTOBER ! MOUAHAHAHHAA

you can d/l new sounds and different models you know, just go to dayofdefeatmod.com and go to there message boards and people will post new sounds and models that u can d/l
