Gore and dead bodies is not an necessity for me, as I will still pick this game up unless something drastic happens between now and when the game comes out, but I have to say I am disappointed by the following official statement from PC IGN….

…Regardless of where, when, and how you shoot a person they will not dispense one single drop of red. Corpses will also fade away almost immediately after hitting the ground…

About two generations ago the world was at war, and the soldiers who fought there saw horrible, terrifying and unforgettable things…. Things that we can’t even being to image. But due to MoH: AA’s anti-gore/violence system, it really takes away from the feeling of it being WW2… Again I’ll still pick up the game I just hope someone will make a mod.

In the original SOF they had 26 hit zones and in SOF2 they have 36.

if you´ve seen Saving Private Ryan you see there comes almost no blood when they shoot each other with rifles and SMG´s, but when they are in that last fight in the french town and the 20mm comes and shoots them on the tank there´s lots of blood and limbs shot of. So when there shot with rifles and SMG´s most of the bleeding is probably stopped by clothing.

Bullet shots do not always cause mountains of blood to flow. SOF style is just silly, and way overdone.

yes your right but if a soldier would shot by 50.cal or 20mm there would be blood but not so much from the rifles and SMG´s (it´s really stupid in SOF that you can blow someones head off with a pistol)

Exactly my point! I don’t wanna see pools of blood, just enough to stain their uniforms. As for the bodies I’d be satisfied if they disappeared merely 30 seconds after hitting the floor.

I think SoF style would be great, after all a shot being fired into flesh is'nt exactly neat. I think SoF did a great job of portraying just how messy guns can be.

yea blood that stains the uniform just a bit where the bullet hits and if they hit where there is no uniform there would be more blood and also when the´re hit with heavier guns and grenades or mortars (50.cal, 20mm etc.).
