You Lean You Cheat !
 

Thought i would share a heated post I had with a player who felt the need to type I'm a " CHEATER " because I use the lean keys. For the record I have only moved the location of my default keys and have not done any key bindings. I would like to hear your views on this subject, good or bad.

If someone leans the opponent will aim for the upper torso so either way it just isnt good.

now something that has been in the game since release is a cheat? how utterly pathetic, personally i find strafers a lot harder to hit than some leaner, is strafing going to be a cheat next? "YOU FUCKING CHEATER STOP DODGING MY SHOTS!!!"

LOL - I couldnt agree more, its in the actual game, so stop winging. If its lean binders that annoy you be careful who you hurl abuse at, because i for one use a 5 button mouse.

aha didnt think of that, a 5 button mouse you say, isnt that hard to control?

I look at it like this, spawn points are part of the game, but people abuse these to become spawn killers, its the same thing with leaning, its being used for something its not meant for, its part of the game so its not cheating, but it still doesnt make it right.

Yeah, leaning's just so unrealistic. I don't know a single person who can lean, or look around corners at all. I think we should just have stickman characters who can't bend.
So what if guys are binding lean and strafe ??? That's like saying that strafe itself is realistic !!!
If it's in the game, it's in the game. The little kids bitching about this shit need to spend less time whining and bitching and more time learning how to play better.

Lean all you want , I'm still going to put some holes in ya ! Binding your keys doesn't make a player that much harder to hit , it just takes a little adjustment . Leaning and running does look pretty dumb but whacha gonna do ?

Lean is not a cheat , its a bug .
Lean is a danm bug . I hope they are gonna fix it in the expansion.

the only people leaners have advantage over is snipers and mauser users (unless you aim for the nuts)
other than that the MG/SMG create enough spray that you still hit them and they die but they die dizzy.

Most times its all the noobs that complain about leaning and cry cheat..If you cant beat them join them thats what i did..I bought me a 5 button mouse and I just assign my side buttons z and c which are my lean buttons..the ones that bind their keys are easier to kill i think because they cant run foward and lean at the same time..the ones that you see running foward and leaning are the ones that invested in a mouse so do not knock them they are legit..nothin has to be binded to lean with a mouse...my thoughts people allways bitch moan and complain when they lose but if they ae winning they have nothing to say

I do complaint because lean look silly for me and lean is bugggy.

I am almost sure they will fix the bug in the expansion . Lean and aiming will be very hard if they fix it. SO maybe , finaly they will use lean only for sniping (what is ok for me) or for flee and defense.


Leaning don't affect aiming whit aa , its a real joke.

I dont use it, I prefer the way the game was set up. The binding is what I have a prob with. If you can work all the keys at the same time I dont think thats a cheat but binding IMHO is a cheat. If I go to a room that has many doing it I can find another server that plays the way i like too. Just my $.02

Beside looking stupid, I think lean/strafe is overrated. I think it actually increases the odds of getting hit, because you lean into the spread instead of the spread going around you.

I am not agree. Leaner are 2x more hard to kill whit smg or riffle (for me)

Even if i know how to kill them.... but its more hard....


Most leaner around whit smg don't even aim , they just random shoot where you are. Sometimes this work , sometimes not ... but the final score always represent if you are regular or a random shooter.

y would you even make this pole. that is the stupidist question ive ever heard (nothing personal), leaning isnt a cheat. how about ppl who jump up and down. if you think leaning isnt realistic u got to be retarded or something, like that one guy said, it would be pretty gay if they were stick figures.

Umm yes and no .


Do 2 test .


1- Fire on wall , fire all bullet full auto whiout moving . Now you see the power up is vertical to your position.

2- Now , lean and do the same . NOW TELL ME WHY THE POWER UP IS THE SAME WAY THAN No-lean IF you are LEANING?

I mean , the power up should be in diagonal not vertical.

I use a 5 button mouse and do lean and move at the same time on occasion. It's there , use it if you want to. Key binding doesn't bother me in the least , don't think they are one bit harder to hit. Just take your time and aim true.

You know I really dont see what the big argument is... Can i please remind people that the feature is there FOR EVERYBODY to use, if you dont use it then thats your fault. So quit winging.

You must not be as old as you think I tried leaning and moving at the same time and all I got was a sore back.

well when i join a server i usualy join without using my bind...as soon as i get into a gun fight(no leaning invovled) and i find the other guy lean strafing then next time i switch on my binds and smoke his ass

doesnt bother me if the expansion brings a no lean thing...i can play without it..no worries eatthis:

Doesnt matter much, since if I remember correctly during a little session, the game developer said since 'lean' didnt add anything to gameplay that it would be removed. I'm sure that a still lean will be maintained however the one where folks are moving at you at the same time will be 86'd in the expansion pack.

That wasnt so much directed at the people "discussing" the matter, it was more directed at people who winge about it.

However, as for the game makers saying that it makes no difference to the game, they are obviously blind or very stupid. Of course it makes a difference, whats better? showing just your head round a corner, or your whole damn body. Without lean, MOH would suck in my opinion.

Your right, its also easier to get a head shot when the peek around the corner.

In some aspects that is also true, because thats all you have to aim at.

First, it's WHINE !!! lol
Second, the only thing that's at all unrealistic about the leaning IS the running while leaning part - I know I'd fall over if I tried (and I have ! I ran around my living room, trying to lean - I can't do it. I hit my head on the fireplace mantle. j/k). If the developers make it so you can only lean while standing, I agree that would solve it.

Bah... carrying all 5 wepaons in Single Player isnt realistic!

nothin about this game is realistic so if you wanna knock the lean knock the whole game..People dont run in the middle of the roads in running circles firefighting.also it would take alot less then 6-7 bullets to kill too..and a first aid kit would not bring you back to 100 percent..and the all ff should be on.. and i can go on and on...Dont pick on somethin little as leaning as being unreal..If it look stupid to people dont shoot the sideways person..turn around and go look for someone else to kill..
