I would love to see more sniper points. Actually I think it would be cool if you were to redesign the whole level with snipers in mind.

ACtually ill give you guys some insight. Im helping Powell work on the level and heres few things added. Some spawn points are changed to lessen the amount of spawn kills also, the church roof is easier to access and 3 buildings have been made accessible. Not going to say which ones but put it this way, definitely makes for some great sniping and close combat in doors. Also the setting of the map has changed, its not dark but not as light as the original. Thats all I can say for now but I am thinking Powell will do a good job with this one.

One last note, Powell wanted me to just throw this out there for suggestions. I mentioned to him about possibly making the tank accessible. Would you guys want that and how do you feel it would affect the map itself? If we didnt incorperate that into the map, how do you feel the extra buildings will hlep with the church roof. Should there be more cover in the fields, open area? Let us know. We want this map to come out looking nice biggrin:

Sounds great, as long as there isn't the usual lag associated with adding alot to maps.I can count a few now that seem to add 30 to 50 ms to people's ping.

A lot of maps that the designers made in MOH had buildings that were closed but had rooms inside not finished. Reason for this is they might have rushed sending the game out a bit. The buildings that will be accessible were hollowed out already, plus adding more rooms doesnt do anything to the ftps. Only time you really get lag in map is with the ftps. Plus adding the lilttle more fog were adding to the map will help.

Glory, tell Powell i've got a pre-release V1.5 of Mohaa Tools, it now exports the Patches ;)

Question though, if we add your tank to the map, how do you think it will run on that terrian? I mentioned using it to Powell because I feel more people need to incorperate some of your good work. How would it affect gameplay on the map is another thing. Well thats something to think about. Also maybe we could make the two versions, one with the tank, or even a beta and see how it runs.

Hey I have an idea, why doesn't Hacker1944 just focus on hacks instead of maps. That way you can work on this one by yourself and we don't have to worry about any cheats being added to the map.

Hehehe I do I have a life outside of gaming. Making a new account isn't a traumatic experience so why not? I am doing this because as the hackers have stated elsewhere in this forum, we will never stop them. So who doesn't have a life, the guy who takes a minute or two to post thier names, or the pathetic no lifers who spend all thier time making cheats to beat old farts like me or little kids who begged thier parents for the game. I would post the link to the cheater site he is registered to, but then everyone else would have it too. Like the dolt that posted the last hack link. So go to the MPC forums and get the whole story pal. Then again theres his hack-------.com site, but he had trouble with it since the max downloads were set at 1gb a day...something about him not being able to get into his own site at times. So we all know he is making a new site for people to get his hacks at.

Which site? Powells? or the other one? Obviousely you didn't bother to go to the downloads section. My point is, how are we to trust a hacker who is making maps? I admin on a server, and part of my job is to take apart the maps files and search for hidden files. And I know that some mappers do it....and its sad, especially when thier maps aren't that great. I don't claim to be a mapper. All I know is if you are going to be active in the mainstream community of those of us who "just want to play the damn game" then you need to be an honest member of it. Don't be two faced about it and make statements about not caring if you are known to be a hacker. As Powell has done himself. I think if you are going to waste your time making cheats so you can feel like a god then you need a life.

Whats even more frustrating is EA is doing a damn thing about the hacks. I've even heard rumour that some of thier staff are in a clan known as =VX9= which in thier recruitment statement asks for people with programing abilities....HELLO!!?!?!?! oOo: But hey thats a whole other arguement right?

Who's to say Hacker1944 isn't going to install cheats into the maps themselves? This is exactly what I am talking about. This is what should be worrying the entire MOHAA community. If he wants to make a map, good. If he wants to re-design a map that came with a game, good. If he makes hacks, good. If you're too worried that he'll include hacks in the map, don't play it. I've already said what I think the map will turn out to be. I wasn't trying to insult anyone, just predict how it would be. Some people here act like nine year olds, which, of course, isn't altogether impossible, but at least try to act like someone with two brain cells.

I know this is chaging the subject, but if you don't like people who cheat, make your own server and ban anyone who you think is cheating. See how much fun that is. Until you decide to get off your ass and do something about cheating (I don't mean making an "anti-cheat", since it's a waste of time) then you have no right to whine about it.

Naturally we go into observer and watch what they are doing before we kick them and or ban them from the server. Its the cheaters that take all the fun out of the game. Hell I have known of several buddies who aren't hacks but have been banned from servers because they are good. Its simple. If you dont like cheaters, find another server. If you dont want to find another server, then play another game. and if you dont want to do that, then there is only 1 other option.......Become a cheater yourself.
