Disturbed, hatebreed, slipknot, mudvayne, biohazard. Lot of other hardcore bands cant remember. Slayer and some other bands you can only get on the internet. Metallica isnt what they use to be with out cliff burton.

no they are not Vonster. But it's still good to see they are alive. I also like Slipknot, mudvayne, and others. I also like Blindfolded, but thats my freinds local band. They're gettin good, they've played a smack ass bitch load of shows

i would have put Korn and Nsync in the same manufactured band category.

I actually used to hate KoRn, but when the untouchables album came out, they basically redemed themselves in my eyes. Plus seeing them live just totally changes your perspective on them. REAL good band to see live

Metallica, they blamed napster for poor record sales when the fact was their album sucked major cock. since theres not many i hate with a passion aside from most rape ill post my current favs.

1)Eminem, not his earlier stuff mainly the newer more political aimed stuff.
2)Queen, the bohemiam rap=best song ever
3)Linkin Park, the lead singer is in my vocal range so its easier to me to do a solo to and they have some genuinely nice songs (when i say nice i mean good)
4) Even though he isn't a singer i have tons of his songs and albums so it counts, George Carlin!
5)all of the following have to be included for they 1 are awsome groups and 2 are from canda.

Korvac and Schalldampfer, you guys need to listen. Finch and all them gay bands suck asshole! They're not punk! OMG, I got in a fight with some kid cause I called him a pussy for listening to that shit and playing hackysack. Korvac, how the fuck can you hate Slipknot!? They fuckin rock. And I think there should be a law in the USA stating that you can't hate Metallica. They were the pioneers for everything music wise in the world today. O and it wasn't Metallica that blamed Napster for poor sales, it was Lars Ulrich(Douche) saying that he wanted redemption for all the free shit people downloaded.

I don't really hate any bands, since for me to hate you I must personally know you. Besides, if they are in a band and making money I can't knock them as I wish I was in the same boat. My favs of all time, and let me tell you, to keep it to five is hard as hell.

These are bands that I have listened to forever (except Metallica). My parents played them non-stop, and so of course, I was going to listen to them. In addition, they have had huge influences on the music of my generation. There durability put them ahead of the other bands that I like so much now like, System of a Down, Korn (the old stuff), 311, etc.

i love rockin out to britney spears and N'sync and all those cool other pop bands...they are all fuckin hardcore..especially backstreet boys biggrin:

If you're older than 12 and you think that Slipknot is cool, then you need to grow up. I have no problem with Metallica, I was listening to Ride the Lightning when you were sucking on your Mom's tit.

Well, I'm not going to justify the gay ass kids who wear all black, think there dad hates them, and go round cuttin themselves then listen to Slipknot and think they are kewl. Slipknot is frickina awesome, they have good music compestion skill and make 9 members not sound like slop together takes skill. Agreed.
Also, Metallica is not a pioneer for every kind of music today. I'm sure you don't like them, but DMB for example would not really be considered influenced by Metallica. Neither would some other unusual bands like Soulive and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. For the record, I'm not a huge Metallica fan, but I have no problem with their stuff.

ok any band with "The" in the 90's and up sucked. And yes NFG did have The in front of there name if you look at the there first album it says "THE new found glory"

Hate is a pretty strong word...I'm gonna say the stuff I like:

1. Iron Maiden - always have been and always will be my favourite band
2. Any progressive, melodic metal like Stratovarius, Dream Theatre, Solitude Aeturnus, Iron Saviour, Steel Phophet, etc.
3. Heavy, gloomy, dark metal like Type O Negative, Kyuss, Black Sabbath, etc.
4. Old school 80 hair metal.
5. Insano shred instrumental guitar (Satriani, Vai, Eric Johnson, etc)

I love heavy music, but it's gotta have a hook. The band has to have a telented singer...nothing worse than a great sounding band with a singer who sounds like a pissed off Cookie Monster.
