mod to tell you low ammo = reload
 

Would it be stupid to have a mod that would tell you to reload when you are about out of ammo? I always seem to be anticipating a surprise kill and only have 3 bullets left. DOH!!

Something that would maybe flash "reload" when you are down to just a few bullets - just for the machine gun, or any other relevant guns that have large rounds of ammo. M16:

What do you think - would anyone be interested in creating a mod for that - or am I SOL and need to pay more attention to my clip?

Listen then: Everytime I have shot someone...or shot some bullets....I JUST RELOAD MY GUN AUTOMATICALLY!!!! My finger goes to the reload butoon without me even noticing it...oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: How Simple is that!??!!? You really dont have to use a script or mod to remind yourself to reload...it has to go automatically fire1: fire1: fire1: damn....

i automatically reload everytime i shoot someone. about 25% of the time though i get nailed because some dude came up behind me while i was killing and got me during my relaod.

Hi again,

You might be right about being killed when reloading. But when I reload, I make sure nobody is near me. (check corners) I also try to hide (camp) for a few seconds, just to reload :) The main point is: you have to reload as soon as possible after shooting.

Why dont U chill out man.. Thats the game.. Do you think in "real life" people get a warning message that says reload? It's not realistic man! And if you cant take notice to your ammo then you deserve to be killed!! That mod is for n00bs!! play more and u'll take closer notice to ur ammo!!! or u'll die! Simple as that...

I think you should just pay more attention to ammo. Not dissin' or anything. Like what I do is everytime I come in contact with someone and duel it up, if I know i need to regroup, ill grab some cover, reload, and go back. And usually when I'm sniping i reload very often so I never have to reload 5 shots at a time. Just pay more attention you'll get it. evil:

you gonna struggle staying here and not hearing shit outta me.

the gun automatically reloads when empty and up until that point there is a clip readout wiht how many shots left in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

if you dont habitually reload after each firefight a readout similar to......
"you have shot some shots you need to put more bullets in your gun now before there are no more shots to shoot"
.... is unlikely to provide much benefit.

How can you guys be so mean? Huh? I mean dang all the guy was doin is asking (maybe as noob) for a mod to help him remember to reload. Yah I agree he should pay more attention to his ammo, (Hell I do too) but for the time being it is what HE asked for not what you guys think. Got it? I mean if he wanted a "Reload Reminder" mod then so be it. It is not ur place to tell him to pay more attention to his ammo. Also on the arguement of in "REAL LIFE", that is real life not a game like this is. So lemme get this straight..... you will NEVER use any mod that is not realistic? Huh I would love to see that.
