Is Battlefield1942 good enough to buy? Or is it just a frag-fest

It's a bad game.

the nades do take the piss. Yesterday i fell off a little hill and i had full health and i died. i thought that sucked. But apartf from that i think u should buy it if u want to

its not that bad. if u play it more u will find out its not the game that sucks but the one who is playing it who does

I think its a great game and I only have the demo.

i think it suxs and i didnt even try the demo

I bought it the other day, and at first wasn't thrilled. However, the more I play it, the more I enjoy it. It's not MOH, so don't expect that out of it. However, the maps are pretty darn big and diverse. Sure the plane flying and battleship crap is arcady, but that doesn't ruin the game. I still say the best part is being a foot soldier, sneaking around, taking out tanks, etc.

If you aren't sure, get your hands on the demo and give it a whirl.

Youll get bored after a month.

I've gotten bored with all of my games after a month, with the exception of MOH, UT, and Gran Turismo 3 on PS2. Hell, if I play it 20+ hours in that month, then the forty bucks was worth it.

Umm no you wont, I've been playing BF since the day it was released and it still hasnt gotten old. Just get it at EB and if you dont like it bring it back...

The laggiest game ever ya it may have good vehicles to drive but if u want a full on war with a hole bunch of players your gonna have to put up with the lag fest every milla second.

I've only ever gotten lag on the Africa maps, and that's because those damn planes I'm sure of it. Every OTHER map that doesn't have a plane on it has worked fine for me. Those with planes only stutter when I'm in one.

More than likely it's your system that makes things LAGGY as hell. Might want to chedck out the tweaks ya dig.

I only played the demo,I didn't like it.
