I never did ANYTHING! How did my IP get BANNED!?!?
 

i was just in the aa.com server today 11/13/02, and at 645 i got kicked, getting this message "Console:Admin: Kicked RushingWaters=[POAAC]= for banned IP" or something like that. I never did anything wrong in that server, and have played in their for a while. In fact, ive been complimented for being a good player. What did I do to get banned, and how do I get unbanned, PLEASE HELP!!

Not that I know of, although i dont know all of the admins. Anyway, about four people got kicked including me. The other three before me had Bad words and stuff in their name, but RushingWaters is not a bad word in any way, in fact i got it from the Bible, so i dont know what i did or what happened. I even tried to get back into the server, and did, and then he kicked me again.

High ping ?

he probly is a satanist.

My ping is always below 200, and anyway, when you get kicked for high ping it says "kicked for high ping", this said IP banned.

PM Rudedog and he will take care of it. The auto kick messes up somtimes , your IP might be very close to someone whos is banned and the program messed up.

Maybe they had someone that was causing problems and switching IP's so they banned a string of them. If they do that they can end up banning many people. This is done rarely but it can be done. I'm with the others, PM Rudedog

And on a side note, the Romans actually put their thumbs down as letting you live and with the thumbs up you were killed. Thats right... hollywood got it wrong... or they thought people would be too confused.

You would know why you were kicked if on purpose. ( bad language, trying to outsmart the chat filter or custom game types <- old timers know this one. it rubs me the wrong way and no I don't want to be rubbed the right way well not by you guys at least )

I was in that game last night. I saw you doing nothing wrong. There were peeps with dirty names and those guys were using vulgarities. I contacted Rude, asked him to kick the offensive players and asked him about the Chat filter and Auto Kick. There was a problem with Auto Kick so that probably explains it.

Not to worry, Rude will correct any issues.

BTW, you were playing great. I will gladly team with you any time.

There was a guy in the server last night , Gangsta of Love , I think his name was. He was halfway under the map in Snowy Park in the corner of the middle bridge . I said something to him but he stayed there the whole map , no big deal , he only got like 4 kills. There were no admins so we couldn't really do anything anyways. He left before the next map. Didn't know you could do that on that map , but then I don't go looking for map gliches.
