that nice little mg-42 trick on omaha
 

allright. another glitch. some more bullshit...more fun evil: . well...if you guys dont know, there is a way so you can crouch and take control of an mg-42 until someone nades ur ass or you're raped from behind happy: . well...people say this is cheating...but i like it, even being an allie. i find that when ur an axis ur sniped right after you man one...and it does take a while to kill someone with an mg-42 when they're on the move. so my question is this: are you for it or against it and why?

I recently have that same problem on my server with the mg42/nade glitch. I usually warn players b4 i kick them for using that glitch. I didnt think it was fair for the Allies. Anyways, I removed the map off the server, problem solved :p. Altho, if someone can come up with a fix for it, it would be great. I kinda like the map tho. Like I said before, that glitch is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Omaha beach map. Its makes its so much more realist then before. I wish I still had the one pic. 'The average life span of a MG42 Gunner on Omaha Beach is 3 seconds.'

I'm completly for this glitch and think it should be left there.

If you have a problem with the snipers in the higgins boat(I always play an Axis sniper in the Omaha Objective map)then you snipe them first. Simple! P***y snipers? Surely you jest. I also snipe and am proud of it. freak:

the problem with snipers on omaha is they just sit in the boat or sit in the water waiting for a german to get in a mg42. then their team starts to die so they decide to start sniping. there's no point to it since it kind of ruins the fun and your objective isn't to snipe germans!

i've had games before where not a single ally even trys to blow up the shingle, instead they just snipe away. of course one german always changes teams to blow it open while the rest of them wait close by to rush in and kill em biggrin:

This makes it more fair for the MG-42 gunners to pump shots out on the Allies, without getting sniped. Yes, its a good tactical move, but it wasn't sopposed to be. Therefore, it's a glitch, and shouldn't be allowed.

well, you NEED to keep 1 or 2 snipers in the boats to kill the guys on the machinguns.
when there's no snipers everyone just runs and gets mowed down, that's an idiot strategy because you don't even get 2 guys up in the tunnels.

You people just dont get it, how many MG's where sniped in '44? Not very many. The germans had a truck load more 42's than just 4. Not to mench'n presited Mortars and Artilery. That stuff didnt hit in 3 places, it landed everywhere! You people just do not seem to understand the amount of lead that was in the air. It was hell on June 6th. ANY allied snipers were not sniping the MG's or Axis troops; they were behind cover. One hit hurt and probably would kille them. They had to push the enemy back off the beach so any counter attacks would not push THEM back off the beach. They were not going 100 yards to two guns, they were fight for there lives, and the lives of the free world; they HAD to get to Berlin. So when you take 10 shots to the chest from a MG and only drop to 45 health, be thank full that you are able to play the game. If you do not like this realism, GO PLAY QUAKE OR UT'03!
