Spearhead Skins name
 

In SH demo skins name were like : RA - Corporal and in the SH retail names are like allied_russian_corporal...
Is it possible to modify name of skins like SH demo?

Is it in localization.cfg or somethins like that?

Because the name in retail version are less comprehensive than SH demo...

I understand that, but other people who read this will get a hint on how to change the names if they want to, also.

I dont want to change the name of the skin I just wanna change the name that appears in the interface to be like SH demo...

Because if u look in the console the name of the skins are the same its only in the menu they are different...

Ah. . .I thought you meant the other way around. Then you have to go into Pak0.pk3 and change it. Im not infront of my PC, but I think it's

Pak0.PK3/Models/Player/Base

Player/Base

Player/

There's a tag in the line of one of the files, DMListname, or something like that. That's what you need to change.

Is it possible to do something similar with dm map name in the menus?
I mean change dmmoh7 to display Algiers in the menu?

I'm sure you could, but I'm not positive how it would effect other players joining your game. I won't be able to check on this until tomm.

I dont think it will change somethin to other players. What I want is a client setting... I wanna change the interface not the file name. ST_Bazooka_Joe tell me when u will be able to check!

I tried to open moh_spearhead_demo.exe in notepad and I found that the skins name were in it?!? Thats weird!! Theres a bunch of commands, cvars and the skins name im talkin about...

I almost find how!!!

When I select a skin the name that appear in the name space is what I gave but in the menu it stills the old name...

Now I have to find the script that find all skins and add em to the popupmenu...

Anyone knows where is the script that look for skins and add them to the menu?
