While playing on the level where you must destroy a U-boat, I saw a Nazi do something wierd! The boat had already been immobolized and I was still inside the boat docks. A Nazi ran past me and I ran past him to. We turned around at the same time, our eyes connected. He looked at me for about two seconds and finally said "De Houndst es Clein!". It was really funny as his eyes became as big as dinner plates! M16:

Yes the Russian's did break through, but remember the U-boat U505? US took control of it and got the codes broken so they could find and destroy the Hitler U-Boats (over 100 of them). That was a major part. And the Omaha Beach breeching played a roll too.....Germany got flanked from both sides. BTY the German sub U505 is about 35 miles north of my hometown in Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. Neat exhibit, a must to see when in Chicago.

i think Hitler made some smart moves and some insanely moronically dumb moves like hmm.... invading RUSSIA. To win the hearts of the German poeple who were depressed and in the shits after the treaty of versaille took some brains as well as guts. he turned germany's indusrty into the greatest army the world had ever seen. the only reason hitler lost was his hate for the Slavs (why he attacked Russia) because hitler and stalin (btw stalin killed 30mil OF HIS OWN PEOPLE whil hitler killed 16mil jews etc...not to say its good but stalin was as much or more physcopathic then hitler was) could have been allies and they would have been unstoppable along with japan. think about it, britain would have fell very shortly after being starved into submission then it would have pretty much been america vs. russia, germany, japan, and italy and i dont think we wouldve won that fight. Actually Hitler tried to invade Russia because there was no way in hell Germany could support their war against the UK without new resources, especially fuel.
Of course at the time he thought that people would rally against Stalin (because like you mention Stalin was not an angel either).
He forgot one thing, love for the "motherland" goes deeper than loyalties to any particular leader/party (ie communists/stalin), funny that Hitler overlooked this because one of his own generals (Rommel) loved Germany but didn't like the Nazis.

Hitler spent two years in prison for treason. He and his gang of thugs attempted a Putsch, (coup), and failed . He was tried and convicted. Many of his top officials were addicted to morphine and little boys. Hitler knew and allowed it. He thought he knew more than his experienced Generals.(dumbass) His highest rank in the military was Corporal, and you think he was a military genius. When he took over from his Generals, he did nothing but make mistakes. He started a two front war. How smart was that? Had he listened to his Generals, and let them fight the War, things might have been different. He was a maniac and a mass murderer.

I have one thing to say...

Hitler should have taken history. If he would have realized that the Russians would duplicate the "scorched Earth policy" as they did with Nepolean, the outcome of Russia/world may have been different.

Well I was supprised that The Counter-Sniper mentioned Canada being part of the War effort. I know some U.S. history classes that don't teach anything about Canada in WWII. They wer in operation: Overlord for christ's sake!!!

Hitler was an asshole, period. He was militarily stupid as well as the most evil dumbass in history. He had good generals who were responsible for Germany's early victories, but when "Der Furhrer" started calling the shots, Germany started losing. He got his ass kicked by the Allies, get over it! FREEDOM WON! USA, Canada, UK, France, Poland, Australia, (there's too many allied nations to mention here, there was around 50 by the end of the war). Anybody that believes that Nazi bullshit should do the world a favor and follow their leader and stick a pistol in their mouth, pull the trigger, and blow their damn brains out!

If the western allies hadn't carried out Overlord, either Stalin would have sued for peace or the Red Army would have liberated western Europe, putting it under a Communist regime almost as bad as the Nazis. For the Canadians in Overlord, if they and the Brits had not guarded our left flank and widened the invasion area, the Americans would have been driven back because the Germans could have concentrated on Omaha and Utah, and if the US had not taken Omaha and Utah so the allies could get Cherbourg, the supply line would have dried up. It was a team effort. Neither US or UK or Canada could have done it alone.

I was play frontline and this german was running i shot him he ended up sliding into some barrels that blew up the rest of his group. Talk about live together die together on that one.
