Hmm just wondering PS2 v. X-BoX
 

well im getting a sweet sterio for my room for christmas and all i need is an X-BoX or PS2 and was wondering which one is better or if there both crappy. well just vote and leave a reason...

PS2, it weighs 6lbs, where the Xbox weights about 27. And the controller on Xbox is just weird.

Halo is fun, but PS2 is alot better, I feel.

The said PS3 will be almost based on that commercial they used to show when PS2 first released, the one with the kid thinking, and the game played using his thoughts.

Well, they're developing some sort of system that uses thought patterns to depict on how games will be played. This wasn't rumored, it was confirmed by alot of the Console gaming mags.

PS2, X-Box may have a couple good games, but PS2 has a lot of good games. I also hate the X-Box controller. The only games I wanna play on X-Box are Halo and Shenmue 2 (damn Sega, I was hoping for that game on DC)

PS2 it is. i got all sony things anyways so i might as well stay that way

PS2 0wnz all consoles, x-box i just dont care for. Its not that good of a console

I don't think PS2 has a lot more life in it, whereas you can bet X-BOX has
lots of it for a while. I don't like MS all that much, but the console isn't bad,
the games are okay (some of them are very nice) and you can get a small
version of the controller, if the big one pisses you off. PS2 has some very
good games too but like I said, I'm not sure how long it will last...

If you get a PS2, try to get it used...

ha, i got Shenmue 2, european version for the dc (bootleg of course) and i must say it starts off boring but in like disc 2-4, is where all the good action take place, and ALOT of fighting : )

i like my xbox and witha controller s its awsome. nothing beats.... DUAL TRIGGERS PRESSURE SENSITIVE

xbox has a lot of decent games and a few great ones with more greats coming soon, Splinter Cell is definatly the best game ive ever played.

I hear splinter cell is coming to the PC in January. So i probably will never buy an xbox

I have a PS2 and it's great. I am buying the kids a GameCube for Christmas, because it has alot of kid games and it's cheaper. XBOX online cost a fee, so go with PS2.

That game was the only thing keeping me from selling my DC, then I read in a GamePro that it was cancelled and going to X-Box, i sold my DC and all the games for $65 to a friend. I loved the first one, it was amazing.

I would take a Gamecube and PS2 over Xbox anyday

Nintendo makes ALOT of good games but usually doesn't have very good 3rd support, but the Nintendo Devoloped games are always good

Overall, PS2 rules all with games like vice city, Devil may cry, RPGs and so on.

Though my fav game is Devil May Cry.
