*QEF* banned me because i'm good
 

The Quebec Elite Fraggers about a week ago kicked my friend Cain and I when we were beating their asses. I called them a bunch of pussies for not being able to handle the beating, then they banned me.

QEF is a bunch of lamers.

These people pay money out of their own pockets to provide to the community a place to enjoy the game. Usually, they themselves like to enjoy their investment. What admins do not enjoy are childish people logging into their servers and disrespecting them. Granted, kicking someone because they are doing well is not proper behavior, but neither is screaming to the admin that he/she is a pussy. If you have an issue with the way an admin runs their server, you have one of two options:

A) You can calmly and respectfully address the matter with the administrator, and discuss your objection. They may or may not listen to you/care, but they are paying $100 a month, not you. Remember that. They pay out enough each month to pay for their gas and a cell phone, just for a server that they share with everyone.

B) You can leave. No one is forcing you to play on any server. Your presence there is a privelage, not a right. Remember that as well.

Your presence on any server is a privelage, granted to you by someone paying money out of their pocket every single month. A privelage, not a right.

HERE HERE !! well said. i too am a server admin. and ive kicked guys like him on many occasions. the reason i say that is hes full of crap. he got kicked for bad language. he says. I CALLED HIM THAT "AFTER" HE KICKED ME. neat trick if you could do it. you can tell by the way he talks what his problem is and why he got the boot. dont be surprised if it happens on a regular basis. more and more server admins are takin charge of there servers cause there gettin tired of losin good people from their servers because of players who use bad language and disrupt the game. my advice to you is. just play the game. if you are that good. let your score speak for itself...youll be around longer that way....BUTCHER

there was no reason to kick me other than my skill.. i was respectful until i got the boot, and since i had the server IP still in my console cache (i use the connect "IPHERE" command in the console to get on a server, I jumped right back on and gave them a piece of my mind.

If they are the ones who rented/own the server then they have the right to boot you! If you called me names on MY server, you're GONE quicker than "crap through a goose"! Go call your mama names! evil:

I'm NOT personally flaming. Just stating facts that I'm sure many of us would agree on. Playing on all MOH servers is a privilege not a right! Come to think of it like an extension of your home or residence. All players should show some common courtesy! I know none of you would EVER allow anyone to come into your house and disrespect you, your family or your friends. eek:

I only kick people when calling me names if they are bugging me. And then only after I politely point out the rule of no calling me, the admin, names.

I will also kick people that don't listen to new rules I make up during their stay.. temporary rules like..don't abuse the voting or no sitting in spectate.

I do not kick people for killing me.

And I do not go to servers with idiot control freaks running them. One good way to filter out these type servers... Just don't goto servers that say chit like, "no rockets, no shotties", because these always seem to be the one's with lame admins.

Just think about it for a minute.. Who is more likely to kick you for owning? The admins that disallow weapons. They get owned, cry, and remove weapons. Then you show up all warmed up with the smg...They get owned, cry, and kick you..

Actually, yes, it does mean that you can do that if you choose. No, it doesnt make it honorable and is a wussy thng to do, but yes, it is your ball and you can take you ball and go home when ever you want. When we ran a server, we almost never kicked anyone. Even the much despised teamgod came on our server talking much smack one day. We thought it was pretty funny and had a good time. You had to do something pretty annoying to get booted, but that was our choice, not yours.

Its happened to me too. More than once. The funniest was on a server that the clan members were talking much, much smack and couldnt back it up. Me and my bud both got booted. Now we know not to go back there. Take it in the same light as being called a cheater. Take it as a compliment.

Think your being a bit harsh on this guy,I understand that you pay out the money have the right to do what you like,but i think you might well be a bit over the top with the critisism of this guy.

Let's please read posts before we start saying things. I very clearly said kicking someone for doing well was not the right thing to do. And I've had it happen to me several times. In addition, I can't even go a whole day on my own server without being called a hack or a cheat.

Anyway, the point of my reply had little to do with admins kicking people for stupid reasons, and a lot to do with the absolutely rampant disrespect being shown to server admins these days. I mean, come on people. I don't pay out the money that I bust my ass for every month to be bitched and namecalled constantly. That's not fun, that's you acting like a 12 year old.

OK, so they booted Cain for being good. They are the admins, and they aren't loyal gamers, as some of us here. If they are jealous, they have all the reason to boot your talent because .. . they're the admins! Does this mean they are right? Of coarse not. But you dont retaliate by calling them names. Just let them know what they did was wrong, and just leave.

So, Punk.. I was reading your site. About how clans are for fags with no skill and what not. And talking about breaking 100 kills in an hour. Things like that. Just thought I'd share a couple of screenshots with you from a 12-man server. That means even less targets than the 20-man server you most likely play on.

As you can clearly see, in one round I broke the 100 mark with change to spare. And what's more, I did it in 10 minutes less time than your hour-long round claim on your site (which has no screenshots). In the other, one can note the round is 25:00, doubling that and the score will again give you 100+ in 50 minutes, not 60. So yeah, try not to talk too much shit that you can't back up. And sorry for the offtopicness.

You are one of the few clans that I will have respect for. The ones I have dealt with make me hate them all. I have had [TBG] crash my server 2 times, and have had a large number of clans who talk too much smack, and ruin our fun games. That is the reason for my pals and I to hate clans! I'm glad to see someone from a clan has something nice to say for once!

hrmm...I'm an admin on IceVirus TDM Server and rockets are not allow cuz of many players' requests. I dont kick ppl for owning me, in fact I get owned all the time :p. I only kick when using dumpuser command listed the user using bright skins or shit like r_lightwall variable or nade team kill switching. As far as calling me names...I usually ignore it for the first time, but if they constantly do it, its a kick and next one would be a ban. I think I'm a fair but yet a firm admin. Does that make me a lame admin?
