First snowstorm of the season for the East Coast and it was a doozy, broke records even.

Highlights of today;

1. Being able to cruise by the poor souls who wernt blessed with a 4WD truck like me at twice their speed. Thppppt! God I love this lil Ford Bronco II!!

2. Finding out the boss was paying me and the coworker I picked up for a full 8 hour day even though we were only on the job 4 hours (only electricians to even try to get to work).

3. Getting cocky with my 4WD superiorty and nailing a snowdrift at 40 mph while merging onto Interstate 95, sliding sideways across 4 lanes of I 95 all the while screaming "YIPEEKIYAY MUDDAFUCKERS!" and whatnot while aforementioned co-worker is screaming "OHSHIT!OHSHIT!OHSHIT!" and spinning into the median (ditch) and switching gears n pulling out like Mario Andretti without even blinking. (Anyone raised in a state with dirt or gravel roads is prolly like "yeah? so what?" :-) )

4. FINALLY being able to justify all the goddamn money I sunk into this truck because it has 4WD.

UGH! I wanna trade ya! it sucks asshole down here! It's about 80 out and muggy as a diaper!

Also my outdoor school is so efficent that when it's hot out the AC won't work! But when it's cold, the AC magically kicks in! whoo hooo! Then the greatest is the "end of the year AC break down!" That is when the school year starts to close, it's only about 95 F! And of course the AC is broken down! Good ole MHS! hake:

in michigan it snows everyday but it doesn't collect, and its always 5-10 in the morning...ahhhhhhhhhhhh

It's been snowing all day in Syracuse with no signs of stopping now. I don't know how much we've gotten, but it's a lot.

Hey I live in NE Philly too biggrin: Right around Frankford and Cottman, one of those small strrets there.

Damn, that's a nice snow fall you go there. Up here in Wisconsin we barely have any snow, but it's so cold, you could cut glass with your nipples. I know what you mean about the 4wd. I have a GMC Sierra Ext cab, and love to barrel through the snow on the highway's at 60-70 (Depending on the ice condition. I might have to take my sled south this winter to snowmobile.

You havent seen snow before? :)

yeah... well i live in southern ohio and we got a whopping 3 inches!!! We got school off tho... and we never had any AC in our school... considering its 79 FU*&$% YEARS OLD!!!! and its usually oh say... 80 degrees in summer but its about 95 inside... such a nice school..... not.
