Desert Combat - BF1942 mod
 

This is a modern combat mod for BF1942. We've got F-16's, M1A1 Abrams tanks, A-10's, and a bunch of other cool things. A public alpha test will take place later this month, so check out the site at http://www.desertcombat.com. Just to let you know, EA has talked to us about publishing the mod...

i checked out that site & its lame, just look at the screenshots, the guy is holding an stg infront of a horrable looking burned helicopter.

Yup, and they'll change it to Guggenheim Battle, or some other crapass name, like they did with Spearhead.
