You can download DirectDVD, but you also have to pay $40 for it. It's a good program though. Just search at http://www.download.com for the trial.

power dvd is best press the button and the stilly ends up in ur pictures folder

I would prefer PowerDVD though, I got it with my video card, and it's neato just for mpg's and stuff even if I don't have a DVD player. Hope it helps.
