stop rocket using newbs

Rocket noobs? You are joking right? Here are the advantages of using a rocket:

1. You can be somewhat off with your aim and still kill the enemy.
2. If used in close quarters it is very effective.
3. Great close to mid range weapon.
4. Great to use in clan matches with back up as it holds choke points to deny entry to other clan in vital entry/exit points.

Disadvantage:

1. Very slow reload
2. 6 rocket max ammo
3. Very poor aiming at long distances
4. In the hands of the wrong person can be a tking nightmare.
5. You walk around very slow with this in your hands.
6. Switching from rocket launcher to pistol takes a long time.

Its easy to kill a rocket. All you have to do is time your jump right. If the rocket guy is reloading and has no back up the majority of the time he should be for sure dead. Sniper vs. Rocket at long range...sniper should win everytime. With a machine gun you should own a rocket too long range or in very open terrain.

I'd be the first to admit that a server where the majority of players are just using rockets is lame......yet still its extremly funny to see people flip up in the air when they die at the hands of a rocket lol. Also playing in a clan match vs. 6 rockets is in my opinion gay.....but for every tactic there is always a counter-tactic.......

I think the whole rocket noob and shotgun noob is old already. In my opinion the true noob is the person who complains about any weapon or can't use his skill to defeat another weapon.

Why do people always whine about the fricken guns in the game.....If you dont like them, leave the game or stop playing MOHAA.......

Or they should at least go play realism lol .

Who gives a shit if they use them its part of the game why dont u stop whineing about it and go and kill some of them instead of getting on our nerves. Its just a game who cares if they use rockets. I really hate to get involved with this, but that post is pretty funny. Let's take a look, shall we?

1. Exactly, so it takes less skill to use than other weapons, especially rifles.
2. Yes, at killing yourself along with the other guy.
3. Close range, no. See previous response. Medium range, yes.

fire2: fire2: look, what im sayin is that a good kilelr is one which can kill people withb GOOD guns. the rocet launcher has noskill to at all. all you have to do is fire close to some one! with the, i dont know, the garand, you have to aim it carefully. or with the thompson, 3 rnd burst mode will take care of anything. also, the sniper rifle. you have to time it just right. I mean JESUS CHRIST. DO YOU GUYS NOT WANT TO HAVE SKILL IN UR KILLS?

Rockets take quite a bit of skill on CKR, you only have 3 shots, you have to hit pretty close, slow reload, you move like a drugged sloth, and other guns take 1-2 hits to kill you.

If you know how to use a rocket in close range you will not kill yourself. Rockets take skill as do all weapons. If you play on a public server with a rocket you will get raped on the reload. The more people on a public server the higher your chances of getting killed on reload.

Thanks Glory. All I can say is (this is obvious to the top clans) that after you hear a rocket go off its time to attack. Whether that be shooting a rocket back, spam nadding or running after the poor rocket bastard who is reloading. I've always found it very funny to have a rocket user miss me and then run up to him and bash his skull in as he reloads.

When we played [BoRo] everytime I shot my rocket I got attacked. I got to the point of knowing pretty much that after I shot my rocket I had better of gotten one or two of them because I was almost dead for sure.

We should just save these venting posts and recylce them every week for the new people. It seems to be the same post just different person every week... BTW how many of those "noobs" are actually reading this anyways?

If you can mantain a very high kill to death ratio using a rocket that takes talent and skill. I can hold about a 2 to 1 ratio on my clans server with the rocket. I've already posted about this before. Is it "cheap" to come around a corner and get blasted by a rocket? Perhaps...but then alot of things are cheap. Holding a shotgun or smg and getting sniped out in the open is "cheap" then I guess. Or for a sniper to get killed at close range by a shotgun or smg is "cheap" too. I mean shouldn't the shotgunners and smgs stay at a far enough distance so that the sniper can kill him? All weapons have advantages and disadvantages...all weapons can be easily defeated. Some of you act like the rocket is the almight weapon that will give you a 10-1 ratio. Give me a break.

Yeah, this is a lame thread that is so overly redundant that it's sickening...but i just had to respond. Every game has weapons that are questioned but it's part of the game. If you're a player and you don't like it, choose a server that bans rockets. And if you're the one hosting and you don't like rockets, for god sakes, get a "no rocket" mod and install it so you don't have to stop every 5 seconds to type warnings to people who use rockets.

Oh yeah, and another thing, [The_Fromanater]....seems you could benefit from some schooling. Your grammar is horrible. oOo:

Nice pic Arkan! As for this thread, its a game. You dont like the weapons they use, start your own game and disable them. Dont come in here bitching about it. This is the kinda thread that bores everyone cause there is one every other day bitching about weapons and players. EA Games said it before you bought the game....If its in the game, ITS IN THE GAME. So either make your own game or dont play......

I enjoy the challenge's of going up against all the diff weaps. I dont care what anyone uses. Its all fun. If you don't like a rocket user, then avoid gettin hit by it. Its easy. Find em and club em!

U read my mind who cares wat they use its part of the game so stop crying about it and why dont u go and shoot the ppl who are using rockets u know their slow as hell so their an easy target and stop complaining on this forum over and over again and just keep this shit to yourself its getting annoying. the only time it would be a good time to use a rocket is if your in a map with usable tanks thats the only time I like to use them. Also if your tierd of rocket using noobs go buy BATTLE FEILD 1942

I think many of you are missing the point. The original poster wasn't responding about general advantages/disadvantages of any certain weapon. He was just saying that the rockets in general require less skill than any other weapon, in the actual firing and scoring a kill phase...

But to defend you all, once you play the game for a while, you get used to the rocket guys, and they quickly beocome easy targets.
