FPS CAP
 

How do you remove the fps cap? I could be getting some mean FPS but its stuck at 99. Is it cvar or cmd?

I think its cmd. ;) what about using... max_fps xxx

You're looking for: com_maxfps 250 :type it into the console.

I've heard 300 is the max and 250 is recommended. I've set mine to 250, but have only reached around 120.

Cookie, it would seem you're just as much a slave to this forum (and 30 cheater forums) as well, no? And to be a cynic.... well, I stated that in another thread. Hard to believe much of anything that comes out of the mouths of children these days.

Guys....are you actually seeing better video by adjusting the max fps, ie, smoother game play ins SP ?? On one level it sems that all you are doing is renaming the scale by which fps are measured. Of course you wills ee higher fps because you changed the scale. Ktog. Bane is the game smoother by adjusting max fps ??
