I concur with Strik0r.
I have a Tippman Proball Turbo, with the auto-hopper thingamajig. A $300 gun, I paid $100. |
Believe it or not, RudeDog had a paintball team back in the day, and they owned all lol. He even had a store. That was pretty much before the guns all became semi-auto. I had one of the most expensive guns, it was an autococker that I bought as stock, and had over $1000.00 of customizations on it. The good thing is a lot of the custom mods I got were discounted or gifts, and I sold it for a down payment on my new car. It was anodized liquid blue, all chrome custom accessories, low pressure, nitrogen, Dye Barrel, Agitator clear hopper (16V?), dragons back, cut gills, beaver tail, the works. I wish I still had a picture of this gun, it was friggin beautiful. But hence, the sport is just too damn expensive, and if you get married lol you'll never be able to play again. Just ask Rude cool:
|
Sweet. I have an RT Automag, 12 volt Revy, Smart Parts barrell, nitro, and double trigger. I never played on a team, cause never had enough money, but I played against other teams. It was such a fun sport.
|
lol is there such thing as a paintball machine gun?
|
Quote:
Blitz, yes. There's even a sniper rifle and paint grenade. |
Yes, fully auto paintball guns use .62 paintballs, while most guns use .68. Rude used to have one. There are also explosive paint grenades that have a small amount of black powder. There are landmines, rocket launchers, and even morters.
|
oh sweet! fire2:

I saw the tippman machine gun paintball thingy. That'll really mess some peeps up

Heh..
i like the part about 13 balls a second. what a bunch of crap. that spyder couldnt do more then 4 a second.. You can hear someone using a spyder 100 yards away. Auto cocker owns all.. and sgt stryker. Tippman already made a belt fed auto. was one of there first autos made. back in like 1988- 90 so good luck on the patent |
I don't know Rungsi. The new Spyder electro's are mighty impressive.
|
hey there mr 'rungsi' my spyder can so, shoot 13 balls per second...when i went to work today...i spoke with a guy that is on the team called friendly fire...he's been stopping by lately cos i told him im getting a gun...so he finally came in today.and i told him i got a spyder imagine...and hes like "wow, thats a good gun, it'll definatly keep up there" and i told him that it fires so fast, that the hopper i bought (zap...shit)...couldnt load them in fast enough, so he told me to go with the viewloader 12 volt..which i will be getting shortly...and, if you want to read up on your guns....go to http://www.pbreview.com and check out the e-guns..and look up the syder imagine and take a look at what the owners had to say...but, anyway...im tired....later happy:

I had 2 guns, both had been upgraded to the fullest. First gun cost me over $500 after mods, 2nd gun cost me $700 from mods and repairs........I had a Spyder, then bought the bad boy 99 Autococker (most accurate gun I owned when it didnt jam up on me all the time!) I would say I invested about $1500 total for all my gear. Then after about 2 yrs of playing, I sold my gear. I had to buy top line stuff cause I was spoiled with my good paying career. If I were to play again, I would get a RT Automag, or a STO Cocker. Now I own a REAL gun, but not a paint marker (thanks to my job). This nice Glock 17 the dept bought for me works better than a paint marker!

No, it will only cover them with paint, not really mess some peeps up. |
You guys gotta check out the Paintball park in my hometown. Challenge Park Extreme. Mancow and William Shatner played a huge game there with 1500+ people. Look for the DVD of it called Spplat Attack (Spelled a funky way). They used the whole park for it. They even had the Tippman Tank! I personally like the park. We have played all the fields and believe me, they are just like Hollywood sets!!!
|
At Fort Knox, they shot paint-artillery rounds at us, that was cool.
|
Yea I used to play back in the early 80's when it started out here in CA. I still have my original Nelspot. We had to do all the modifications ourselves, hoppers, barrel extensions, silencers. Most the stuff we made out of PVC pipe. I played with the guys from JT Racing, they make gear for Off-Road racing. They started making gear for paintball, masks, gogles, etc and we would get them for free! They sponsored the National champ team and we would scrimmage against them, actually beat them sometimes. In the matches no mods were allowed, only the original bolt action guns.
Got too expensive and finally had to quit. |
at first i thought all panitball guns were like the guys in the first post, i didnt know you could get rocket launchers and morters, sweet jesus imagine owning one of them lol you could knock people out with them lmao, you would be walking down the street and all of a sudden "neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooooooo" *Splat* lmao i bet they cost loads though oOo:

Well, not getting shot at with paintballs. That wasn't fun, heh Just the fact that they used paintball M-16's and AK-47's. A hell of alot better than miles gear. But the new MILES gear rocks. It tells you what kind of injury you have, and how long you have to live.

I got the Tippmann A-5 from here. I really really like the Mp5A5 stock they put on it. The gun is great too, but I'm sure you've all read reviews and such. They have some seriously cool equipment on there. Artillery, Mortars, Mines, Grenades, machine guns, etc. |
ive got the tipmann with the flatline barrel which basically gives it the accuracry of an m1

if i was shot, i would trip one of my buddies, beat him up and steal his miles gear, so that i could get back in. |
