Which means, hopefully, it will ship the 7th. I for one, cannot wait. I've been beta-testing the Phase 3 of the game, and it's really quite cool. I was in a band for this club, and made some good loot, but then I rebuilt my character into a bounty hunter. It's fun kicking the crap outta guys with the wookie, lol

I dunno how much it will cost monthly, probably the same as Everquest. I for one cannot wait.

That's my guess, $10 - 15. I never really looked into. I'd take SS's but you cant in the beta. They're real secretive on the game right now, it's like top-secret lol

How exactly are they implementing Jedi's ? are they going to limit the amount ? cuz you have to be force sensitive dont you ?

I've never really been a big fan of Star Wars, with that said I have picked up a few of the games which were rather enjoyable. But I've never unerstood this SWG game. What do you do? Like what is the point of it? It sounds like The Sims in a SW world from what I have seen so far...

VERY limited. It's random. According to the beta notes, it's 1 Jedi to every 950 players.

If you've ever played Everquest, pretty much the same premise. You use your mouse, and a console-like menu @ the bottom of the screen to navigate. Think of this console like the menu from Maniac Mansion, heh (It's got all the cmds to click at.) When you talk to another person, you talk in Basic (English) or your language (I'm a Transhodan, so I speak Trodi). When you speak Trodi to another Transhodan, it comes up as garble for other players, but in english for any transhodans.

I'll probably buy it if my friend does too

Though don't you like most of the people who are going to play will want to become jedi?

Can u join the imperial or rebel armies? That would be cool.

LOL! Well, I've got about 5 different dates for release. Glad I prepaid for it. 10-15 dollars a month is doable.

The way it's played right now is you can't join the armys, but you can either be for them or aainst them. You can aid the rebels by smuggling weapons through an imperial patrol boarder, or you can give the emperor (Whos rumored to be a higher-up at LEC) tips on where the rebels are hiding and crap.

Or you can do what I do, be neutral, and just be someone like a bounty hunter, musician, shop owner, etc.

As much as I love Star Wars I won't buy a game that I have to pay monthly to play it.

I'm not sure of what profession I'm starting out as. I'm leaning toward smuggler. Right now, everybody and his brother wants to be a bounty hunter so I'm staying away from that for the time being. Also, the Sims Online. . .heard it is lousy. $15.00/month is not bad. Just cancel your memberships to those *COUGH* other sites.

Same here. It's either the Smuggler, shop owner or Gunsmith. I'll either be neutral or join the rebellion. Long live the republic!

Sheet! I forgot ALL about this! Yes, he is right, I read about it awhile back, but never really read into it. You can travel to different planets (servers) using the spaceships, and still play the game. You can dogfight with the fighters too. It's sopposed to be excellent.

Sounds like a hella cool game, but there's no way in hell I'm paying to play online.

I just don't believe in that shit. If I bought the game, that should be enough.

Yeah, I'm getting it, should be good. Becoming a Jedi is a completely random occurance, and you becoming Force Sensitive depends on your actions throughout the game. Should be a fantastic experience. freak:

I wish I knew how to hack into games like that so I don't have to pay. I already know how to do it for most porn sites.

That will be part of your skills training. Supposedly, you'll have to travel to different planets to get the different components.
