101 tips on playing Medal of Honor (please post # next to tip) class is now in session biggrin:

1. Keep gun straight while running.

2. Try to keep track of a bullet count. If you know you have 1/3 of a magazine left, break away to a safe spot and reload. Remember, you will not lose ammo that's leftover in the mag when you dump it, it carries over. (unless the server is modded).

#5. Know where your teammates are....for the most part

#6 don't pull the trigger until you see an ENEMY (and can hit him)
#7 use bursts not full auto

8. use their spawns to your advantage, and base ur moves off of them

#9. When sniping and an enemy gets very close to you, have your pistol handy and use it for close combat.

10. Sometimes use your teammates as bait depending on situation. Allow them to go thru and door first or into a apply then you come in and do clean up.

#10- Always run with your reticle at head length. Turn down your mouse sensitivity so you don't go all willy-nilly shotting.

13- Don't use a rocket launcher in CKR.

16.If your killed by something you didn't see go in spec and check it out and learn that position and kill him next time.(Dunno if thats cheating, oh well.)

17. When in close combat smg, mg, "TRY" not to empty full clip, when enemy does the amount you have is bound to take out oppostion while reloading.

18. Dont go into a gun fight knowing their is 3 men in a room fighting, wait for right time and clean house.

19. Listen for sounds (footsteps, door closing or opening, nades, gunfire)

Take a team mate or 2, out flank the enemy while all the rest of your team are distracting the main action of the enemy.

21. Don't run in a straight line.

22. Drop a nade when being chased, close door behind you catch the enemy in the other room.

24. Dont buy Spearhead oOo:

Use the Mauser or LeeEnfield or Mosin-Nagat to perfect your aiming.

26. When you jump off of an object, try to take the safest route off--try not to lose soo much health. Algiers rooftop-- jump on the crates and then on the ground instead of jumping directly on teh ground.

27. If in close firefight let the other guy empty his mag if he is all over the place and then take him out while he is re-loading.

28. Aim high. If you are a trained shooter you are trained to hit center body mass. This game doesnt work that way...the head shot is your best friend.

29. Change your sight. Dont use the stock sight.

30. Use force models.

31. Spectate the best players and see how they move.


Btw someone already mentioned this and I would of put this as my favorite.

Mouse sensativity should be moved down. And take of smooth mouse. Doing that helped me out.

32. Dont just go for the head, when in a gunfight aim for the upper chest. Some bullets will travel to the head.

33. Never proclaim hack. I dont know how much Ive heard that.
34. If you dont like the server setting (realism, etc.) dont complain, just leave.

A) Listen to the environment.. to footsteps nearby... familiarize yourself with the sounds....believe me this is a great advantage.. be warned though, some idiots will begin accusing you of "wallhack" because your smart enough to know when theyre coming from their loud footsteps.. morons!

B) Use weapons according to map. In Southern France & Stalingrad.. a Shotgun is efficient. Sure its considered a 'noob' weapon but when your facing 20 other guys with rockets & shotguns....might as well play with the field and show em whose the top noob on the block. Believe me, there are shotgun whores out there that are really good at that weapon. They will own you nonstop no matter how good you are with the smg/rifle/mg. In other maps a sniper or an smg works well. Rockets..well...only if you wanna piss people off or have fun...knock yourself out.

C) Don't just run like a chicken thinking this is Quake! Don't be a goddamn quaker! This is MOHAA! A good sniper will own your sorry ass no matter how much you dance in the street like a baffoon! Use the walls, know your location!

D) Shit, its a game.. whatever works for you!

E) Play Battlefield 1942! lol
