World War III next yr?
 

How many u think next yr (2003) will be WWIII? According to Nostradamus, there will be peace after 57 yrs after the end of World war II, and in 2003, he predicted WWIII.... think about it, We going to war wit Iraq and North Korean is gonna restart their nuke program.. what u guys thinK?

I personally dont think so, I believe in nostradamus's predictions as much as I believe in the easter bunny.

from whats written about him he got alot of shit right so i donno, but if hes right blame bush for any wars...

The only thing i take as true(just in case) is his prediction of a huge earthquake on May 10. He does not specify the year. So i like to not be indoors on May 10. biggrin:

where has the peace been in the last 57 years? better yet, where have you been? ever hear of Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Desaert Storm, Slobadam Milosevec, September 11, crackheads with AIDS killing for dope, etc, etc,

i think that alone should dispell his prophecy.

Well I mean not to the point where like 75 million ppl get killed during those yrs, Vietnam, Korea, Somalia, etc, they are really not that big compare to World War II

Not that Im downing those wars, nor am I beliveing in the predictions, but 57 years from WWII.

Correct me if im wrong but it is now over 57 years since WWII ended. if by only a few months.
How many countries need to be involved before a war is called a world war anyway??
I think their were only three countries in world war two: germany, japan and america... (sorry couldnt resist that cheap shot at hollywood)

I think we can do it... WITHOUT throwing nukes at eachother. It's about time we settled our differences in North Korea. Same with Iraq, get Suddam off the thrown so we don't have to worry about him selling biological and other nasty stuff to Terroists.

Thas one of the major problems, Iraq most likely sent those biological weapons to Al-queada, not to mention they are still strong and more terrorism will happen cause for them it's only the beginning...

N. Korea on the other hand for sure will be a lot harder.

I doubt WWIII will start. Iraq is merley a conflict. Saddam will soon be dead.

Korea could be a good show, but I still don't think they could stand a chance against

Looking in my book I got for christmas called "Fighting forces" we see that N Korea has 3500MBT, 560Light Tanks, 2500APC, 7500 mortars, 1700anti tank, 21,400 pieces of artillery and air defence, and 16,000 missles.

North korea also has 80,000 special forces like the US Rangers no like delta. ed:

So we'd definitley have a fight on our hands.

North Korea doesn't have the technology like we do... our Air Force and Navy could easily do the job without our ground forces.

I'm not saying N. Korea ain't worth shit, but thier military is outdated, and has low technology. They'll most likely be on there knee's and beg for a compromise... but it won't happen. This time we're going to finish the job.

China will most likely intervene though, we'll see.

North Korea pretty much seems to be asking for war. They think that because they have nuclear weapons, we won't be able to do anything to them, and they will try to use them to "negotiate." If they continue this, they will soon find that it doesn't work like that.

Has the chance to nab Bin Laden, but doesnt go for it. Bush is a go-getter. He likes to get things done. He is using his Armed Forces for his advantage.

Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be a world war with everyone choosing up between two sides.

What I mean is there is already plenty of fighting going on that is not related:
US vs. Afghanistan,
Russia vs. Chechneya,
Israel vs. Palestine,
crappy African nation X vs. crappy African nation Y (there's almost always a couple of crappy African nations fighting)

There may be some confilcts that are quite unrelated (like India vs. Pakistan) erupting throughout the world. It looks like Venezuela is getting ready for a civil war.

Only time will tell...........

You're right, Vance... there are so many things that happen on the DMZ zone that people don't know about. There are firefights there like EVERY week.. NO joke. My Father was stationed there.. so was a few of my relatives/friends. They all came back with the same stories. The only reason why people are starting to hear about this is because they're trying to pick a few reasons to invade North Korea or give them a reason to intervene and do something about North Korea.

I'm glad Bush is in office.. he's starting to clean up our mess Clinton and so many other presidents ignored.
