Chuck yeager, the first man to break the sound barrier. Edwards airforce base for having the original landing site of the space shuttle. also used to have skunkworks but dunno what happened to them.

Edwards is where the nation's first jet- and rocket-powered flights took place. It is where men and aircraft first exceeded Mach 1. 2, 3. 4. 5 and 6. and where they first flew above 100.000, 200.000 and 300,000 feet. The famed North American rocket aircraft set altitude and speed marks of 354,200 feet and 4. 520 mph that still stands for winged aircraft.

They have helped make the B-2 bomber, the sr-71, the f-22 and many others.

They have a kickass airshow every year. My fve, the A-10. You dont know what those things are capable of until you see then in action. ed:

Hmmmm, Auckland....It's called the 'city of sails' because it has a huge harbour with a shitload of private yachts.

It has the tallest building in the southern hemisphere.

The America's Cup is currently being hosted here, it has been for the last 7 years...

It's the biggest city in New Zealand. Not to hard to be. freak:

It has more samoans than in samoa itself.

I can't think of anything major....Just a whole lot of little random things....

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- Largest Quaker Oats plant and I beleive we are on the list of the top 10 places that enemy countries want to blow up since we have a engineering place that develops stuff for the military and we also have a nuclear power plant nearby. Not completely sure about that though.
