Not enough of a following. Just a few dedicated kids who haunt this forum and post their sigs with no-content messages.

When I search for servers I get maybe 70; of these there are maybe 14 with pings under a hundred. Of those 14 how many offer options I am want to play?

Lets see: one is running Berlin. Berlin, on my damned GOOD system, has memory leak, or something, so after a few minutes fps goes to hell. PLUS the map just plain sucks. It takes TOO long to go from spawn to combat, and map is boring anyway.

Another server is running 'rifles only' so wtf? I like rifle, but I don't want it dictated to me.

5 servers are run by fools who have fast run speed on, so I might as well play quake, cause with fast run speed it aint MOH.

Other servers - well, tho they say they have spots when I try to connect I get message 'server full' cause the spearhead browser is fooked, and there is no way im gonna run gamespy (i was one of the first game spy PAID subscribers but they run spyware so fook em)

So i cant play the game, so whoopee! Its dying anyway, not enough players, I wonder why?

You just need to find one or two good servers and stick with them. You get to know guys and alot less stupid n00bs.

AAN is great, but even there i get tired of seeing people butt-slide when they get shot. thankfully it happens less than on stock.

Yeah if you hoppin from place to place it can get pretty boring, personally i usually just play on our clan server and a few servers that i have been playin on since i got the game, find a few servers ya like get to know the people and admins there and ull be fine cool:

as long as you can get good pings stop by the aan server

Everyone on the server is also on TS which make playing even more enjoyable.

thats true, this game will never die, but i ain't to sure about the route that is taken, i've thinkin' in gettin' retire, because for me is ain't fun anymore


it sucks but thats for real, maybe i let my legacy of MP40 & Mauser to this brand new rocket & shotties guys (skill less, but i better than nothing)

the reason there are few Spearhead servers is because the original MOHAA is still more popular, there are plenty of Allied Assault servers out there.

I agree with you Stryker, that aa's still more popular. But I just can't see going back now that we've gone Spearhead. I saw this interesting rant on PMOH about realism that makes me realise what a good thing we have going with AANR and the few good additions that SH brought (without which AANR would be just another CKR). Me personally, I don't think I could live without the Enfield. I've really grown to love that damned thing - even if I can't hit anything with it. oOo:

Perhaps variety is the issue
 

The origional AA is still popular because PP are still making the attempt to add maps to it, of course the same maps are availible to SH players you just have to have SH to play-em they're not cross compatible.

If more servers would host at least the better AA maps with SH, we may have a revival of playability.

In addition the lack of a SDK (sorry for bringing it up) has made so many PP just sick of EA......well you know.....

Download ALL SEEING EYE, FREE! No crap like gamespy, it just came out with a patch for spearhead and it runs MoH! cool:

as well with the cheats, mohaa will be like cs, and it will suck, even though mohaa isnt working right now i still play alot and i am gunna hate it see go down the drain
