Five button mice

Can anyone reccomend a good five button mouse that works well with AA and SH? The buttons need to be side buttons - thumb and pinky. I think it has gotten to the point that I need to learn to lean more to stay competitive and my fingers just cant handle using that many keys all at once.

I have a microsoft intelli thingy (dont get infa red as they suffer connection problems alot) its 5 buttons and works great m8!

Theres some teething problems getting used to it, but believe me after 2 weeks you will be `leaning` everywhere!! Honestly I got mine as a gift about one month ago and its totally amazing :)

I second the MS mouse. I have the intellieye and have not had any problems.

Just get the one that fits your hand better.

PS you dont have to use your pinky for the right lean button.

good luck you will be glad you did. you can even use the side buttons to go back and forth on web pages.

Simo Häyhä 01-03-2003 03:14 PM

yeah i also have an itellimouse..a laser mouse is your best way to go for gaming and beyond angel:

Well a ball mouse would be better for gaming. It's more percise. But the only good 5 button ball mouse is the Razer Boomslang 2000 and they went out of busyness because no one could afford a 100 dollar mouse made souly for gamers.

The next best thing would be a Logitech MX-500 with 8 buttons... But Logitech fucked up all there hardware with the latest crappy version of Logitech Mouseware (software)..

So yeah.. Even though it's lighter than air, way to slippery, and has slight tracking problems. I'm sorry to say that the MS Intellimouse Explorer is probably your best bet.

Man those things are sweet!!

Major Pothead 01-03-2003 03:55 PM

I've used both Intellimouse Explorer and Wireless Intellimouse Explorer...I recommend the one that is not wireless cuz the wireless one has trouble picking up slight movements such as sniping and stuff, plus the one with the cord just seemed to have a better response altogether

Double U 01-03-2003 04:12 PM

Yes they are brutal those cordless'

Terminator-1000 01-03-2003 05:45 PM

MS intellimouse kicks ass. Get it!

I think optical technology has made the roller ball mouse obsolete. Your quote sounds like someone out of a magazines opinion two years ago.
I will never submit myself to a ball style mouse again.

I bought a Boomslang 2000 from Bestbuy 3 weeks ago. 10bucks. Although I never use it...it looks kool. Was the last one and missing the driver disk. Went to site and d/l the drivers so its kool. Just not comfortable on the hand as my Intellimouse.

cmelton 01-04-2003 08:48 AM

Magg0t 01-04-2003 11:37 AM

About 2 weeks ago I bought an expenisve logitech 1 : (http://www.logitech.com/lang/images/0/15.gif)....as Major Pothead sed "I recommend the one that is not wireless cuz the wireless one has trouble picking up slight movements such as sniping and stuff" I agree with him...

I soon took that mouse back 2 get this 1 : Mouse Logitech Optical PS2/USB :

My advice : dont get cordless mice..they r 2 heavy coz of the batteries for gaming

look guys, i don't like microsoft too much, but in this case i said that the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 it just great!!!, because it easy to roll (it optical), it fast (USB), don't have problems with the connection (it not wireless) and have 5 buttons, i have this one and a recommend this one!, the other day i was playin' with my bro PC and his have an tradicional mouse, and it sucks

son you know Intellimouse Explorer, i think that it no to expensive
try it

-=Seth=- 01-07-2003 01:16 PM
