BoB DVD, screen capture
 

...I have Power DVD, and it normally allows pretty easy capture of frames. Band of Brothers doesn't seem to work though. Has anyone else had problems with it?

I have Band Of Brothers on DVD and it works fine for me.

I use Intervideo WinDVD 4 and it works fine for me.

I have tons, (almost 200) but nowhere to host them. With PowerDVD, did you make sure to right click, then go into configuration and select a place for them to be saved to? If you haven't then go into Program Files/Cyberlink/PowerDVD and they're in there...

Yep, did all that. I've used it a lot before, but it does't seem to work with BoB only.

I'll keep messing with it and see what happens.

No didnt have any problems with it Wolfman. You may want to clear out the folder where your sending your stills. It may be a conflict with one you have already taken. I know there supposed to just continue on in the numbers but sometimes they wont and i've gotten an error here or there saying that file already excist while snapping stills in PDVD.

I even put together a set of about 20 or so from the 3rd episode, i had em hosted for a while but needed the webspace.

I got a lot, but it's a lot, and it takes a while to upload by each pic, and I don't have a place to host a zip, because it's too big..

All of 'em are pretty big (90 something MB) but I know what I'm going to do. I'll just actually use my webpage for something. Not just hosting.

Wolf, what did you use to export them? A DVD-capture tool?

Power DVD. Its got a screen capture button that wasn't working for me. Re-installed and it fixed it. I then took 'em into PSP and resized and sharpened them, to clear them up a bit.

K good, that's what I'm using. Yours just looked real sharp, that's all.
