Is that for spearhead only, or will it work with Allied Assault?
Plus, I can't find TMT anymore, I thought I had it bookmarked, but apperantly I was wrong. Could someone post the address?
Thanks

Could someone make a skin with a tommy helmet that will work with MOH:AA (because I don't have spearhead yet), if that's even possible.

Simo Häyhä 01-07-2003 01:04 PM

doubt that it can be found. might want to look in an items folder in pak1 (i think)

kdja 01-07-2003 03:09 PM

TWE-Ryan 01-07-2003 04:26 PM

all the new gear models works in MOHAA it's just the british desert 1 wont work cuz you don't have the british tank copral in MOHAA. just download it and eevrything will work in MOHAA

redhawk_six 01-07-2003 06:35 PM

I download an MOH:AA compatable version of the British Tank Corpral from Allied Assault.com, so does that mean I might be able to use the British 8th Army skin after all?

TWE-Ryan 01-07-2003 08:54 PM

YES!!!!!

redhawk_six 01-07-2003 11:15 PM

If I wanted to take the helmet and gear (with the author's premission of course) and put it on a diffrent body, well, first, is something like that even possible?

if it is, where could I find a tutorial on how to do it?

TWE-Ryan 01-08-2003 06:39 AM

dude open the pk3 go to models/player open the TIK file with your notepad

you will see TIKI
setup
{
scale 0.52
path models/human/allied_british_tank_corporal
skelmodel brit_tank_corp.skd

surface handsnew shader handsnew_btc
surface brit_tank_tunic shader Aussie_desert_tunic
surface brit_tank_pants shader Aussie_desert_pants

path models/human/heads
skelmodel head1.skd
surface head shader aussie_desert_face

// HELMET
// ================================================== =====
path models/human/dr/
skelmodel mk2_ver1.skd
surface britmk2 shader britmk2

path models/human/dr/
skelmodel british_ammo.skd
surface britammo shader britammo

path models/human/dr/
skelmodel british_holster.skd
surface britholster shader britholster

path models/human/dr/
skelmodel british_showel.skd
surface britshowel shader britshowel

path models/human/dr/
skelmodel british_canteen.skd
surface britcanteen shader britcanteen

}

init
{
server
{
voicetype british // set the voicetype to use for multiplayer instant messaging
}
}

$include models/player/base/include.txt

after " // HELMET
// ================================================== ===== goes the enw gear jsut selcet it and copy than you open a new mopdel (your skin) and paste it in it when you pack your "own" skin make sure that you take out the human folder from Krystof's skin and put it in your skin i eman models/ just add folder human and put the files from krystof human folder (it's contains all of the skd mdols fiels) but you can also make a skin without any human folder you just need to have it on your computer the original dsert skin ahh.. damn i got you confused now.....

I was going to use the parts to make a WWII Canadian skin, but when I emailed the author, he told me that he was working on a British skin with proper battledress, so I'll wait for that to come out and add Canadian Insignia to that skin.

If you make Canadians, that you need different player models as basic one. I don't see any accurate in mohaa and sh. I made completely new player model for soldier in batlledress (like Canadians, British, Polish etc.). They have new (properly pants and jacket). Also I added new two versions of mk2 helmet (clear and cammo). They will be release that fast as could be possible (I think that will be one, maybe two weeks - 100% plugins are in last test). So maybe you can wait. But cos, you can use this parts which you ask. Could be nice say a word about this in your skin release notice ;). Regards. Krzysztof

Hi,
I'm building a realistic WWII Canadian Infantry skin for MOH and was wondering if it would be alright with you if I used the helmet and web-gear from your British Desert Rat model?
Thanks,
Redhawk Six
