no such thing as the best sniper

johnny may be a damn good shot, but what happens when the enemy gets up close? laggy days? different mods? someone may be just as good as johnny in another mod. there is no #1 best anything on mohaa. there are too many variables in every situation.

i agree it such an open question to ask if you want a definate answer you have to ask a definate question.

there for you should have included a mod type, game type (obj/dm) which sniper rifle (axis allies) and things like taht other wise you alway get the post that say i'm the best when infact 90% of the poeple have never played each other.

Also look for specfic tornaments on some of teh community sites you find the poeple that think they are the best of the best playing in those.

It would also depend a lot on your definition of a sniper. A sniper can be described as a person that waits and picks his opponents off from long range.

In a real life scenario this holds true as in close quarters a sniper would be in trouble for 2 reasons, a bolt action rifle having a slow rate of fire for one, and not beng able to use iron sights on the rifle as the scope would be in the way.

Try doing rambo sniper in a game like day of defeat and you will get your as handed to you time and again because:

1. You can't move when scoped in as soon as you move you drop out of zoomed mode.

2. The rifle has no unzomed crosshair, so basically theyre taking my point of view with the scope blocking the iron sights. Also the scope has a wobble factor which is reduced when crouching and reduced more so when prone.


The above is the way i and a shitload of others had hoped moh would turn out but obviously it didn't. cry:

read a book about the guy
it is said he has 502-542 confirmed kills, in 100 days, MOSTLY without using a scoped rifle, most targets were at +400 yards using iron sights. and he lived to the ripe old age of 96

The best I ever saw was a guy named Khaos. He was in clan [FLARE] briefly. He lives in the US, as far as I know.

In close combat, he always switched to the pistol and won.

I'm a pretty well known sniper in my parts.

I can take out most running targets.

in one to one gun fights in a room, i can usually hit them in one, maybe two shots with my rifle..

I rarely use my pistol. I hate the pistol.

I'm a very good sniper but like anything else, sometimes even Arkan gets spanked!

Are there any regular sniper contest on MoH:SH anywhere/time ?

As i'd be interested to play in one.

I have always been a very good sniper in all games such as CS, DoD, Q3, MoH:AA, and now in SH...
