Well, the title says it all, would ya? I met one a couple of weeks ago at a strip club, and for whatever reason, we have really hit it off. I have always been the guy who stated that he would never date a dancer, that all they care about is money and cars and that kind of shit. Then comes along this girl and blows all that out of the water. Down-to-Earth, intelligent, has a real job as a medical assistant, etc.

Now I sit here and realize that I am gonna probably have to eat my words. My buddies are gonna have a field day with me. biggrin:

Go for it man, you shouldn't fall for all the bullshit. most of the strippers that I know (believe me I know alot) are very nice. Most of them are on the level, some of them even have a family. Being a stripper is just a job, I don't think people should be labeled because of the way they earn their money. Besides, if your friend start ragging on you just because you date a dancer, they aren't very good friends. Hell, I wouldn't care if my woman was a proctologist if there's a spark, that's all that matters.

Not that I have any experience in such matters, but I'm assuming that you should consider the following if you are seriously thinking of a relationship with a whor..., erm, dancer:

1) Get her tested for every venereal disease known to man
2) Make sure she doesn't have a drug habit (unless you do too...that would make it easier to score some stuff...heh)
3) Make sure that she understands that if you two decide to be exclusive, that she has to keep her end of the bargain.

I'm sure a lot of dancers are honest women who need to money to support their families or fund schooling. Make sure she has a good heart, not just a great ass.

Well I dated a dancer a long time ago in my single days and it was great at the time. I was young and stupid and it was really fun, guns, drugs, booze, and women (What more could a 21 year old man want). But the scene got ugly and you really see some pretty nasty shit go on that you'll never tell a soul about. Bottom line, if the girl is doing it for the money/habit watch out, if she's an "artist" trying to make ends meet then its not so bad. I had the unfortunate experience of finding a greedy hot bitch.

Well look at it this way, date her if you like her, no matter what the job, if shes like the perfect girl for you go for it man. Anyway alot of guys that watch her will be uber jealous of you biggrin:

LOL....I use to sound like some of you so much. Strippers are crack-whores selling their shit on the street for a quick fix. The problem is, I never really got to know any of them, wouldn't even try. I don't know what made this one different, just something there.

She doesn't do drugs, doesn't even drink. I feel like a drug-crazed alcholic around her. I've seen her in action at the club before we knew each other, and she wasn't like a lot of the floozies in there that my buddies go after in the back room. She just stood in the corner until it was her turn to get on stage. Maybe I am being naive, but I don't think so.

It would be stupid for me to let what she does, two nights a week get in the way of what is an incredible catch. Shit, I give it two more weeks before she figures out that she out-classes my ass. She showed me her modelling portfolio last night and I was like, "How the hell did I get this girl to go out with me?"

A Jobs a job. If she's a nice girl, go for it! The only real issue here is whether you are ok to handle the social pressure from the small-minded people in the community that just assume that all dancers are whores and drug addicts.

As long as she likes you for who you are, and not what you can give/get her, everything should be fine. But then, that doesn't necessarily apply to dancers, that's just a rule of thumb in general.

OK let me say this, firstly this is definately a crap place to come to for advice I mean you must be really turning this one over in your mind.

Secondly, I would find it difficult if I knew my woman was sticking her cunt in some guys crotch or taking it off for 5 dollars. That the sharp end in this kind of relationship. But you might like having other guys place her ona a pedestal

Thirdly, if she's an assisstnat med whatever she is probably just earning a bit of money on the side to pay the bills etc and stripping is a good way to make money too.

If she's down to earth and intelligent she probably isn't a druggo but she could be a slut...you know intelligent girl who likes a good time or whatever.

Stripping could a last resort too so she might be keen for cash at present so she could just latch onto you and clean you out.

gosh, why would it generalize those girls as crack whores? Because most are! I dont know how many strip bars you have been to but most of the girls (not all) are drug addicts and whores. if your girlfriend is giving lap dances to anyone with a $10 bill she, in my opinion, is a whore!

I find it amusing that some of these guys have no problem throwing money at these girls to get a peek and a lap dance but then say they would not take the whole cake for free if it was offered.

Thank god Pest, the voice of reason. Alright first of all they aren't all Crack Whores. Yes, drugs, alcohol, and guns are very prevelent at strip clubs, but this depends on the the actual club. Now I think all of us know the difference between a upscale strip club and a handjob joint. The are big difference between the two types of places and the type of women who dance at each of these places.

Christ Stackem, you live in a shithole of a city. The stripeclub that I like to go to, are full of young professionasl/artists/students trying to make their money, I know every stripper in that club and none of them do sexual favours for money and/or do drugs.
