Weapon Modders...is this possible?
 
I just had an idea for a weapon mod. An M1 Garand with a bayonet attached to it. The bayonet doesn't have to be functional or anything, i just thought it would look cool. I don't know if that's already been done or not, if so i haven't seen it. Also, if someone can modify a BAR so that it does more damage to simulate one that is loaded with their armor piercing rounds.

The B.A.R. thing could be done, but until the SDK comes out for MOH...the M1 with the bayonet idea cant be done. Hope I helped ya! w0o0o0 cool:

Thanks man! Now, the BAR thing, is that something i could do? Keep in mind i have no idea how to do it but if there is a tutorial about i might be able to do it. But i doubt i can and i don't want to fuck up my game... And another question about that...could that be used in online games?

This topic should be moved to Modding, but... From my limited knowledge of MOH modding, all you would have to do would be to make a mod that changes the weapon configuration to have more powerful shots. Basically, it would be another realism mod. To use it online, it would have to be running on the server, or else it would probably be considered a hack.

Yeah i posted this while i was looking through the sig test section. Sorry bout that. I kinda figured that it would have to be on a server....oh well that's ok. It was just an idea i had for a mod, not a hack or anything, i'm not a cheater. Thanks for the advice guys.

Bayonet's can be done currently. at the tmt new player models have already been loaded into moh, so yes they can, but will they do damage, in near furture most likely

editing the .tik files for the bar will make the bullet damage as powerfull as you want it. plus you might need to model the m1 garand's bayonet first, but i dont think you can export it until the sdk is released

a guy from our clan is already working on it:

he says it will be very hard to get the bayonet to function but if they release the SDK he thinks he might be able to get it to work on our server and it still has a lot of bugs, it will work eventually...

But not for a while
