Hey everyone I just wanted to warn everyone about the new cheating skins that someone told me about. Now, the chameleon skins can work for every default skin. I am not going to give the URL becasue someone might go and get them. Me, and my clan think it is total bullshit that everyone is using these skins. So please if you have a server un-enable force modeling to stop the cheaters. Thanks.

Disabling forced models solves nothing because, like you said, they can replace the default skins. This means they can replace all of the default skins, and thus every skin would be seen through walls, so forcing isn't needed.

A smart cheater will never be caught, unfortunately.

Need to make a script to detect the size of the skin. That way if the original size doesnt match...its been tampered with.

Dont they already detect that with the EXE? Why cant they do that with the skin as well?

Chameleon Skins are easy to detect. If you're rounding a corners and bullets start being fired before you get there... if someone is constantly looking at walls or ceilings. Or if they open a door and toss a nade in for no reason and get a kill. Or if they throw a nade and it doesn't kill anybody, then they stair at the wall then throw more in or leave.

The code security mod works very well for assuring your suspisions.

Very good Idea, Guess what Im working on a Security Program/Script right now to detect Chemeleon skins. Im using Spearhead scripts to help also... IF you would like to help or want a copy when its done give me a holler.. I need some help so please if you could levae some info about yourself and hlep thanx.... we will conquer cheators. ((((Im always on the cheators forums so i understand what there developing))) Cheating just ruins everything. i would help script, but i have no idea how to do that im only 16 hehe but, i would like the mod or whatever it is as soon as u r done with it or have a test version. because i am very fucking sick and tired of cheaters. i just put the delator on my server and caught like 40 cheaters since yesterday its fucking BS. so please could i have the thing when it is out i could use it very much thanks alot. =)

I would stop before you go any further. If your combining Moh:AA with Spearhead your going to have |V| <| |) Conflicts. You cannot detect it because its easily hidden...easlily sectioned to another file. You can't stop them. Its a lost cause.

no one is busting any one the orginator of the post was just trying to bring them to our attention not lay the blame for there creation on anyone.

someone needs to make a program that detects different colors, because if someone d/l's a Chameleon skin and they have like winrar(I do) they can just change the skin name. but making a program to detect pk3 files might work on JUST on the chameleon skins because you have to change stuff un the script. right?

no matter what happens theres gonna be a way around it...the only way i see it is like this......i heard there was a program that could take screenies of players servers...so, if there was a way to notice lots of one color on a screen...even if they have force models off with allied_ranger as default, they could have the blue,green,red,polka dot, whatever colored 'skin'...so taking the screen shot and detecting a batch of one color would be the only way i can think of......lol....im tired oOo:

one 1 problem with this guarnere. they have already bypassed that screenshot program. what they do is find the random number it prints on the screenshot, the go in game and take a fake one and use the iprint command in the console to make it flash that random number on the screen, then take a screenshot of that. it fakes it, making the admin think they dont cheat. maximus gayness. hake:

Iprint puts up a message where the "Recovered 50 health" comes up, in the same color.

Also the screen shot stays clientside so it's only any good for match take it at random thenm get it sent with in a set time during map change is the best option to stop the iprint method. If it's not on it's way with in 2 mins they lose, not nice but then there should not be any delay in sending.

Does not help with public on servers but then if you get that paronide just lock your server.

There are a couple of videos out there where someone caught a person bltantly using these cheats. watch those and yoll be able to spot them a lot easier. Me and another guy from my clan video'd a guy last night using them and as soon as we can compress the vid I'll post a link, as of now it's 96mb, lol, so the 56k'ers would be here all day.

Iprint does not you need the codesecurity mod loaded onto your server to get the screen shot to work the Iprint is how they are getting round it.
