OK, ive been browsing through posts and stuff, and ive seen a LOT about accurate 'Band of Brother' Airborne Uniforms, so i decided to make one....this one took me bout an hour to do...not a 20 - 30 minutes like my other ones...lol...so...heres the deal...

1.) You guys tell me what to put on or take off
2.) Any color changes, face changes
3.) Anything else you feel should be done, just say it

and we can finally have one thats good wink: wink:

Good model. I think the colour is done faithfully. Though I think they only used those US flag arm patches in Market Garden. Maybe you should give them some boot polish on thier face and skrim in their helmet as this is what they had on in Normandy.

Also add netting to the helmet, I *think* they hd this not 100% sure.

Also I think you should take the gloves off the hands IMO.

howboute take some a the junk off face, and add beard stubble on cheeks, then make distinct face paint, more lines like football players than the blobbish stuff, and maybe add some scars, but yes helmet netting= good, but great job, these= just recomendations

i dunno whether this has been posted yet, too much reading for my taste
1) those rope tie thingies on his legs as seen on winters
2) colars for the boots from bastogne
maybe more as i am watching BoB at the moment

3) speirs' face paint is AWESOME

I say get rid of the original facial hair because nobody had that style back then, and put on some stubble and dirt.

Actually the flag onthe first one needs to be turned around...it was designed tolook like it was waving..

maybe have it look like he whiped blood on his pants and shirt, then maybe a roughed up one with bandages, and stuff. k biggrin:

ALRIGHT!, heres #4, lookin bad a$$ as ever...

The blood on the torso is the right shade, but not quite dark enough. The blood on the sleeve is just too bright altogether.

Damn, guarnere, how did you get to be so damn good at this?

Maybe add some leg ties, and maybe some unit markings and camo scrim on the helmet.

yea, he does have leg ties bud...lol...but here, choose a color of outfit, 1,2, or 3....and ill use it from now on...

I think #1 is the closest to the actully colour of the real uniforms. #2 looks like the German field grey uniforms, and #3 looks like the modern Canadian single colour OD BDU's.
