Well I'm outta school, but my younger brother has it off. I heard yesterday on the radio that MLK's wife says that no one should have the day off, because here husband never stopped working and he would'nt want work to stop because of him.

God, yesterday I was out church. The church i go to is in an all-white neighborhood that's very "exclusive". During "joys and concerns" one of the people said that they had a joy because "it is MLK day tommrow and we should be grateful for all the great things he did." I think said "Not like they let black people in Highland Park anyway." I got so many dirty looks. Fuck them though, it's thr truth.

But then again, I don't think anyone in Canada is getting the day off.

I have school today...if other schools get off.............I think it should be a National Fucking Holiday...

My school is one of the few in the country that doesn't have it off. Today they gave us ribbons, either black or white, and they labeled the stairwells, bathrooms, and water fountains white or black. so you could only use one of these if you had the corresponding color. Of course, since the entire school population hates the administration, we didn't follow it at all. It just gave me an excuse to be late to classes (No, really, i had to walk ALLL the way around to the black staircase) and to yell at people that i didn't like for using the wrong lunch line or staircase.

there was a short walkout though. i didn't participate cause mid-terms start toamrrow and i need all the help i can get.

umm? i dont think he did it just for America, im pretty sure it was for all blacks. Im not makin fun of ya so dont take it the wrong way or anything.

There's like 4 black people in Canada.

lol i dont think there anymore than like 1 black person at my school. I wanna be black though.

you may be rihgt, but i dont think Somalia has a school for whites only, but im not sure.

In his speeches he talks/asks for de-segragation in america. We have to learn all this stuff in school. He grew up like 3 miles West of here.

But for God's sake, why do we get off for MLK day now, instead of the birthday of the man who is one of the main reasons our country even exists. I hope the ACLU rots in hell, and Affirmative Action is reverse discrimination. Thank you, come again.

my dad grew up in philly and i asked him if he was on the football team and he said no because he went to a black high school lolol
