For you paint ballers out there.

How much would you pay for a weapon like this? Or this. [url:71dad]http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2702834943&category=un defined[/url:71dad] I was scanning for a new boomstick barrel when i found this guys e-bay store. I proceeded to drool uncontrolably, and began thinking about bidding on one. I currently have a nice spyder with some moddifications, but im always in the market for a badass new toy if its at a good price. I also play with a group of guys and random targets, i mean people we find that may not have gear but want to play, so having the extra weapon, my old spyder, lying about might be nice. A video of it being fired. [url:71dad]http://www.armotech.com/product/Product-main.htm[/url:71dad] Notice the kick even with the Co2 tank foward mounted. I would use a remote line naturally. Im really tempted to get it but i want to know how accurate it is and so forth and i cant seem to find out. If anyone has information, be it you've used one or know of a friend who knows a guy who saw it fired. Im just looking for accuracy info, rate of fire looks good to me. |
bah, the Real Action Marker is cooler, it actually fires and feeds like the real thing.
|
Damn I wish I could afford to play paintball, never mind get a gun like that. cry: cry: cry: cry: cry:

Link? Price?
I knew of a gun back in the day that was a 20 round magazine fed .68cal paintball gun. It was something like $1,400. I like this one because i can adapt my current gear to work with it. I dont need to get mag holders, which were probably custom. Granted i would go to Army surplus and get some real ones and mod them to work. |
ive got an automag 68 classic, with a 68ci nitro tank and smart parts tear drop barrel, with a KAPP foregrip and iron sight rail with a laser scope.
total price - roughly $550 biggrin: |
I payed a visit to the Armotech forums and read what people wherre saying. One man said exactally what i wanted to here.
He said that it was accurate at close and far ranges. He also said; "the marker shoots far, really far". Read some more after that and it sounds like a nice weapon. I think after this payday i will bid on one. Nothing but praise for there tech support on there forums as well. Sounds like a good deal if i can get them for 300 or so considering retail is around 500. |
another thing to spend hundreds of dollars on.......NOT

Hey thats cool, I was simply making an observation. I like to speak my mind to. fuck you |

Ooookay... well im spending the cash, doing some e-bay recon to see what the average going rate is from this dealer. Then i'll start my bidding.
|
NICE! Those are the guns we used at Fort Knox! biggrin:
The only thing is they are too much like the real thing, and don't have advanced paintball gun features, like a hopper. My gun has one, and I dunno what I'd do without it. It keeps the balls from clogging in the barrel. |
Yeah i saw it... Did a quick double take, then started looking for info. Simulated kick and the accuracy are what finally sold me. I wanted something to remind me of my old M-16 A2, which by the way they make in a paintball gun!
ARMOTECH: WG-65-A1 :m-16 A1 Replica Wg-65-A2 :m-16 A2 Replica Wg-65 :M-4 Replica Anything above the 65 is a varient with differant fetures but still looks like a M-4. Its a standard paintball gun Joe. You can use a hopper. They also make a nice handgun, and a series of MP5's. |

lol Well, we used the bottom two ones, the ones that look like the M16A1 & M16A2. I only fired an M4 Carbine in basic, and only once! |
Why would you use a remote with this gun? The remote is way too bulky on your back. When I used mine before I got my minimag before I bought my Cocker and put $1300 into it (man I miss that gun), playing indoors it was friggin so annoying to have the nitrogen tank banging into my back. Now, if you're using CO2 and the tank is small then I guess it wouldn't be too much of a problem but then again, why not just use a couple of 7oz tanks? Store them in your harness or something and switch off.

Man I really need that edit button oOo:

regulated fields usually frown upon real looking paintball guns. ive been playing for about 3 years and have seen some kids turned down at a field. its strange how paranoid liberals are ruining paintball hake:

Thats why I play with my friends in the backwoods or in PA. They won't let me use a paint grenade! |
tippmann squad buster, or bouncing betty nades? they all suck, lol biggrin:
|
Nah, I got my own. They're not a brand name, my friend made it for me.
Little steel ball, bout the size of a grapefruit. You get a few paintballs (bout 20 - 25) squeeze the fluid into this filter, and then turn a timer. In about 5 seconds, it sends the contants squirting out of 65 small holes about the size of a penpoint. Pretty nice toy. biggrin: |
rad. 3 years of playing and i have not taken anyone out with a nade cry:
my best kill count in a day was 15 souls evil: |
Lol those Tippman nades are shit. They spray tiny spots of paint that are not even considered kills because they splatter has to be the size of a dime.

Guys that we play with use all sorts of crap, Machine guns, camo nets, ghuille suits (I use one I made out of a burlap sack! biggrin: ) radios, we use anything man, it makes it more fun. |
At the moment, I am looking at a Spyder Flash or E-99. I can't really tell what the difference is, any suggestions? Last sumer wa sthe first time I played avidly (every weekend.)
Has anyone seen those paintball tripmines? Was wondering if anyone has used one, or seen one and if they are any good. F.Y.I: "Skyball" - Proshops bring there equipment, and have sales on the items. Amatuer and pro teams have a large tournament (entry $750ish + $150 for balls). In Toronto, Ont. Can. at the Skydome from February 28 ( Thursday) to March 1 (Sunday) May want to double check this info on the internet. |
[quote:d816c]You know, that's one of the first things I thought for that. It would look too damn fake and probably outweigh the weapon if you used a regular C02 canister. The two things I want to know that I cant find is how much the gun weighs, and how many FPS does it shoot.[/quote:d816c]
It weighs 6.6 pounds stock, and has to be turned down drastically to get below 300 FPS for my field use. Lighter than the old M-16 i used to fire anyday. The weight is why you would use a remote, and also for the look. A 20oz tank straped to the front of that thing would be heavy as hell and look dumb. As for it slapping me in the back, it wont. My type of field play is slow and low. A rare few games will i even notice my pods which other people say slap alot when they wear them. For my style of play the gun is perfect. As for the feild not allowing it. I live in Washington, one of those states that likes guns. I also know the guy who runs one of the fields, and if where not there were up in the back woods somewhere. The other field owner would probably say "fuck that looks badass, can i shoot it?" |
