MoH: AA: MoH:AA and TeamWarfare Written by TotalCarnage 23:00

Over the course of the last few weeks there has been alot of discussion among the MoH staff and with Senior Staff of TeamWarfare. Given that this game is no longer being supported by EA and that cheating is rampant it has been decided that we will be closing the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault ladders. Given that there is no way to police the cheating effectively and virutally every match played ends up in some sort of dispute, I feel this is the only viable solution. The last day of match play for Allied Assault will be February 28th. On this day all the ladders will be locked and any pending matches canceled. With that said, we will continue to proceed with the Medal of Honor: SpearHead ladders and encourage any teams currently playing on the Allied Assault ladders to migrate over. Since SpearHead is still being supported by EA, the MoH Staff feels that it can more effectively support the SpearHead community in its gaming needs.

Actually TWL is shutting down because of all the cry-babies. The number of people that cry cheater. Not the actual cheaters. It's the people that have been crying about the shotgun for a year.. They all like to accuse people better than they are of cheating these days. That's the real problem.

yes he does. he is made a crosshair menu and some scopes, trying to make legit mods, which he thinks can whipe out everyone's thoughts about him cheating.

Either people are cheating, or they're place_a_name_of_a_weapon_here whores, or realism sucks. It's all the same: just a bunch of whiners.

I agree with McCusker and nStuff; It's the damned whiners that ruin everything. Something I've noticed with increased frequency lately is that people out there complain about EVERY SINGLE WEAPON. I kid you not, I've seen it. Every weapon has it's set of whiners; from Stg Whores to Shotgun Newbies, and yes even riflemen take flak as "campers." Now I'm not saying that every rifleman out there is a camper, but due to the weapon's features, I believe it should be used as a long range supporting fire weapon. Personally, I use a more gung-ho method of rifling, but I also know when to take cover. I also happen to be a fan of the shotgun. It is sometimes the best weapon to use on certain levels. In any type of cramped quarters, it simply cleans house. Don't run through closed in spaces and not expect to run into one of these things. Just take it slow and toss 'nades around corners or simply find more open ground. If these whiners are such accomplished players why haven't they figured out a defense against these weapons? Shottie got ya down? Stay outta tight quarters. Stg's buggin' ya? Guess what, he probably moves a lot slower than you do, use it to your advantage. If your problem is rocket noobs, well, I don't think I need to mention the reload dance those guys have to perform. Are campers gettin' your goat? Learn the layout of the level; there's a reason why they're called campers, go and find 'em. Tired of being hit by a hail of hot lead from an smg? Duck and cover. Let the guy bait you but don't take it. Chances are the guy will keep firing long after you've jumped behind something; listen for the inevitable reload. I can only hope that I've gotten a few points across. Whether anybody listens, well that remains to be seen.

Very true. The new disturbing trend is instead of being accused of cheating for playing well, now you have to take screenshots and email it to some cat that cant tell a hud mod from a hole in the ground. It has gotten a bit tedious.

Absolutley right! Last night I played in a clan ladder match thats now been turned into a dispute, we were accused of hacks ive never even heard before, the funniest thing was thier grounds for siting a conflict.......they sited it on the grounds that because of our tactical holding of certain positions in a map (yea possibly a bit of camping) that we was "cheating", now ffs are you sure! so they left with 2 minutes to go on the last round (of 4) saying that we will get a forfeit and the mandatory 10 points for it instead of the points we desrve for slaughtering them.
My point is that now the ladders admin have to piss about with this conflict when im sure they have better things to do.
No wonder their fed up with it.

Did EA ever actually support MOHAA, and to say that they are supporting Spearhead is really stretching the truth. So far all I've seen in way of support is the release of a game sized patch to fix the holes they shouldn't have missed in the first place and in turn made the mother of all cock ups - oops my CD key is no longer valid.

And one person's opinion does not count for every poster for the entire board - I don't have a problem with MPowell.

I dont know so dont flame me but to me, possibly the only ones that can counteract cheats are the very same people that used to cheat themselves.
Therefore IF its genuine that ex cheaters now want to help combat it...then all so well and good.
