FG42 - hidden gun in SH
 

the FG42, a german paratroop machine gun. I went through pak1.pk3 in my mainta folder. hmmm, there was a .tik there for an fg42 rifle, along with a texture .jpg . My question to all other experienced modders is this:

Is it possible to add this gun into the game?

After i post this i am going to try to make a mod replacing the gewehrgranate with this new weapon to see if i can.

id theres a skc or skd yes

the guys at TMT have already added the gun into the game, although some parts arent finished.

to tell you the truth, i found a pk3 with it..and you can have it in the game...but...i dunno...you cant see the gun in ur hand, and it replaces the k98 grenade launcher...if any of you want it, give me a holler

I made a new pak containing the lastest version of the FG42 and you can pick the gun by selecting the Gewhergranate of the Axis.

You should try my FG42 you just have to select the gewhergranate...

Okay i think ill explain...

My version of the FG42 is almost finished...
Everythings working theres no bugs in it.
You can select the FG42 in the axis weapon select menu...
Theres only one thing the reload animation is wrong. As I know, nobody was working on it. Kami the modeller of the FG42 did the biggest part of the work... He told me that he wasnt working on the reload animation anymore... Maybe someone else is working on it though.
