Have yet to see ROAD TO ROME, but I'll get it when it becomes available. If it DOES require its own CD-key...aint a chance I'm plunking down 20 bucks for what amounts to a glorified "bonus pack". You hear that DICE! - Digital Illusions and EPIC are kicking your ass! |
I should have mine in 18-36 hours. I will let you know.
|
Road to romes already available ive had it 2 days now biggrin:
As for unreal 2 ive read its a piece of shit, 3 years of work for a little under 10 hours of gameplay? Thats real value for money oOo: |
Quote:
And who made your UNREAL copy? |
i have 100 megs left on unreal 2, then i'll download road to rome and spread the wealth biggrin:

Umm, Aaaah,
Seeing as I don't know tiddle squad about where to dl such things. How the hell can you dl a game thats 3 days old? Dosen't it take a good few months for it to finally get onto Kazaa or anywhere? |

games are out on the warez front before they are out in stores usually
|
To use KAZAA to dl a game - you've got to be at your most desperate.
And since most people put most of the stuff the dl in the same folder, as soon as it's dled from ANYWHERE and put in D:\ILLEGAL SHIT its not in your KAZAA folder. |
can someone quietly tell me where i can dl unreal 2... be very very quiet.

You can find it on mIRC, or if youre unfortunate to have AOL you can get it in any Private Room, and dl it at your own speed. To me this is the ONLY good thing about having AOL - and it's why I always cancel my subscription and renew it for free months on a new credit card/phone bill/etc... |
I have Unreal 2 already, and I must say, it's similiar like Aliens Vs Predator 2 in terms of the Humans vs the aliens..... the game is kinda hard and the graphic are better than UT2003 but it sux it doesn't have multiplayer feature, thas the only thing that disappointed me cry:

The first UNREAL is simply untouchable: the story was great, the locations
were awesome (sunspire anyone ?) and the music, incredible (skytown). Unreal II is different... very. I'm pretty far in the game and have only fought Skaarj once: humans are the main enemies this time around.. Music is very good (first sniping instance, for example) and the worlds are very nice too: I'm actually surprised the game runs *that* well on my GF2 GTS (800x600, mind you). Story is kinda standard but good... Sorry Sloi, this aint a warez site. |
UT2 released?! Holy crap, where have I been? I might just have to get it. biggrin:
|
So which one is better, Unreal 1 or Unreal 2? I would rather fight more aliens though
|
I prefer the first Unreal, but I'm biased for too many reasons to list them all. biggrin:
Most people will prefer the second... |
I'm getting Unreal 2 for free, my friend owes me a game. It looks really cool. I had the first Unreal, but lost it moving, and never got a chance to finish it...It was so cool...*sigh*
Ed, Deathball on UT2k3 owns so much...Holy shit...Blows Bombing Run away. It's just awesome! |
Enjoying both, had UT2 6 days ago, got Road to Rome today, yet to play it, but I've heard it's not much of an expansion, just like Spearhead, 6 new maps, new player models and weapons...doesnt sound all that exciting.
UT2 on the other hand is quite a nice piece of work. I'm not the sort of person to sit down infront of a game and play it till its finished, that in my opinion is a waste. I tend to space the playing time and enjoy it thoroughly. Yes it may be a short game, but I think the gameplay, story and graphics are awesome, a true piece of gaming brilliance. It would be good if they could remake the orignal with this updated engine....would be very nice :) I've also been enjoying FreeLancer a hell of a lot. The Beta has a few niggling bugs still, but apart from that, the graphics and gameplay (yes even with just a mouse to fly) are superb. Great story and features, nice choice of just going "freelance" or going along with the more linear story line. Microsoft and Digital Anvil have done a great job. Also guys, no more help with where to get the stuff, that includes links like the one you gave Sloi, it's not allowed. |
road to rome = yawn

yes i downloaded it off irc last night in an hour.
it's umm...boring. just the same ol stuff, a few new maps and a couple new weapons that are exactly like the others graphical stuff like a 7.62mm box on a M2 and it somehow fires, still that german flag they apparently made up can't even campaign mode the new maps |

What is this mIRC that u speak of? How do i get it?
|
No links to warez-related material.
|
mIRC is just an Internet Relay Chat program: it helps you get on that part
of the internet a little more easily. While most people use it to chat, others use some of mIRC's "other" features ... biggrin: |

So is this game any good or not?
|
i didn't know that Unreal 2 was coming out so soon. I had just seen some of the screens on http://www.unreal2.com and thought it looked amazing.
As for Road to Rome, I really could care less, sounds like another Spearhead to me, another EA piece of shit |

Dunno, i got cd1 and am currently waiting on cd2. From the reviews though its a lot of bollocks, 3 years to make it and roughly 10 hours of gameplay in it. oOo: |
